We had a wonderful stay at Storrs Pond. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the amenities were great (clean bathhouse, swimming pool, beach, tennis courts, hiking trails, etc., etc., etc.). Only 2.4 miles from the Dartmouth Green, so easy access to Hanover and all it has to offer. We will definitely be returning soon!See more..

I’m a resident of Rochester and I LOVE this place! The people who run it are AMAZING ! The lego lounge is a great place to leave your kids while you look at some of the collectibles in the store! Prices are amazing! A top priority for anyone visiting our town! I got a great deal of 25 dollars for Star Wars micro machines AT ST, Endor and some figures! I would recommend checking out the custom made mini figures, you enter the store and there will be a bunch of them to your right! I’m a regular customer going there about 2 times every 2 weeks! The manager and his wife were both on that day. They were extremely knowledgable and comforting. We had players who had never experienced this type of outdoor fun. They put everyone at ease and explained the best way to be sae when playing. Awesome place, Awesome pricing and AWESOME, experienced referees. We are not going to wait for the next batchelor party. A major thank you to our host Ally. Delightful, professional, energetic, and helpful are just a few words that describe Ally. You are a beaming light and a true example of what a host is and should be. A shout-out to Jackie for checking in on us on a few occasions and for offering to blow up balloons for our party room. The bathrooms and facility were clean and well kept. Knowing that this is a public park with germs everywhere, we encouraged our children to use the automatic hand sanitizer dispensers. In Epsom for the afternoon, I was nearby when I stopped for lunch at neighboring Epsom House of Pizza. When I saw the sign for Tactical Tabletop Gaming, I just had to go in and see what the tabletop gaming was all about. Inside, I spoke with the very friendly owner and learned that the shop sells games and hosts live game play. Each weeknight features games. Some nights are set aside for a specific game; other nights are open. One of the board games I saw near the doorway was chess. There were lots of wargames, such as Warhammer and Warmachine. At the time of my visit, a game of Warhammer was underway. I watched that in progress for awhile. It was interesting. This is a great place for Concord area travelers and Lakes Region campers to go and have fun on a rainy day or night. I rate Tactical Tabletop Gaming at 5.0 and highly recommend a visit. There is a building in Canaan, that houses two businesses with three names. Confusing, huh? Tripadvisor already has a listing for Mountain Meadows Event Center (which is also a bar), but that is another story. The Funplex, AKA Mountain Meadows Funplex, AKA the Competition Complex (yes, they are using all these names) is a large indoor park which includes a mini golf course, climbing wall, basketball courts, a riding bull, batting cages, playground, bigscreen guitar hero, climbing rope and small arcade. They also have a restaurant. Cost is only $10 for adults, $12 for kids 5 and up and $5 for kids 2-4. Last time I went, they didn't even charge me as an adult. {if only they didn't have the kids... darn !! }See more..
