  1. 4.0 Laconia Antique Center (29 reviews)
    - A great place to visit, especially on a rainy day!
    Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
    Laconia Antique Center image
In the middle of downtown Laconia, doesn't look big on the outside but it's huge! Has alot of very interesting and wildly eclectic stuff, from furniture to model train, old books to signs, china, guns, records, newspapers...etc. You could easily spend several hours here! Way too much to mention all of it but there are two levels to explore. I'm not an expert on antiques but the prices seemed reasonable to me? See more..

    Bowerbird & Friends Antiques image
As a collector and dealer, I constantly visit Antiques & vintage shops throughout the world. Bowerbird is one of the very nicest shops I've ever seen. The layout, displays, store flow, atmosphere and of course the owners are all incredible. There's a terrific selection of vintage and antiques to please every shopper--furniture, ephemera, unique decorative antiques, tools, books, you name it, all perfectly displayed throughout this charming place. My wife and I were enthralled with this shop--and make sure you look out the back windows for some beautiful views!! See more..

  4. 4.0 New Hampshire Antique Co-op (9 reviews)
    - One of my new favorite shops in NH
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
In response to some of the other reviews, "expensive" and "junk" is in the eye of the beholder. There are museum quality pieces including an art gallery. However we saw many items in our area of interest we could afford. There is also a section with very affordable items. We have been there twice and loved looking through the high end areas. We also purchased items both visits from the discovery barn in the back. None were what we would consider "junk" (and we do see a lot of junk at many other shops). And while not at thrift store or yard sale prices, prices were reasonable and several were below retail. The staff are friendly and helpful. They make it clear they are excited to have new customers regardless of what price range you are looking in. They encourage you to enjoy the art gallery even if you will not be dropping $30k on a painting. I would encourage anyone to stop here if you love beautiful things and are in the area. See more..
  5. 4.0 R. S. Butler's Trading Company (7 reviews)
    - One of my favorite antique haunts

    R. S. Butler's Trading Company image
I shop here on a regular basis for vintage home furnishings. The items are curated with an eye for quality and displayed together. I love the textiles “department” and have found so many beautiful things like a Pierre Deux bedspread, drapery passmenterie, curtains, wooden shutters, shelves, footstools, you name it they have it. An outstanding ornamental garden department and loads of one of a kind antiques. It’s absolute rubbish what the critter cat said about this place. Put it on the list if you want a good antique shop to visit. See more..

    Treasure Trove image
Heading to Turntable Park, I came upon Treasure Trove. It was unexpected find. I stopped to browse the antiques and collectibles. Treasure Trove hosted multiple vendors. It was a well-stocked shop with a wide variety of merchandise. Items included glass vases, bottles, and other collectibles as well as drinkware wooden items, home décor, pottery, tea pots, fine china, serving dishes and bowls, tabletop items, such as mugs and glassware. I also some jewelry. And, I'm sure I've not mentioned every type of item I saw. I found prices to be reasonable. The owners were very friendly and personable. For anyone who likes to browse, the shop is a place to get lost in for an hour or so. I found and bought two postcards with butterflies at $2.00 each. I rate Treasure Trove at 5.0 and highly recommend a visit. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below. See more..

Wolfeboro Antiques & Artisan Barn image
Heading from the 7-Eleven to the Wright Museum of WW II, I saw the word ANTIQUES in large letters on the side of this barn. I decided to stop. Inside, I was greeted by the woman at the counter. Browsing the booths, I noticed that they were larger than what one normally sees in a multi-dealer shop. I saw a lot of furniture in with the usual home decorations, serving ware, dinner ware, collectibles, etc. It also had items made by local crafts people. The large case at the register had jewelry. I saw a couple of pieces of interest. I thought the shop had a lot of nice things. I rate Wolfeboro Antiques & Artisan Barn at 4.25 and recommend a visit. - TIDY ANTIQUES SHOP IN A HIDDEN-GEM SHOPPING PLAZA
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Antique Shops
    Carriagetowne Antiques & Uniques image
Visiting in Plaistow for a few days, I went to nearby Kingston one afternoon. Traveling on NH Route 125, I’d seen and driven past the back of a large white complex hundreds of times. On this trip, I looked into what it was. It turned out to be the Carriage Towne Plaza which had about two dozen businesses that included nice shops and the Carriage Towne Bar & Grille. The sign for Carriagetowne Antiques & Uniques caught my eye. I love browsing gift and antique shops, so I started my shopping there. It was a multi-dealer shop with everything from antique jewelry, books, and collectibles to enamelware, glassware, linens, decorative home furnishings, and more. There were at least two dozen booths filled with treasures. Everything that I saw was of good quality. The booths were all very well organized, and the items in them were neatly arranged. I’d never seen an antiques shop as tidy as this one. From all my previous experiences, the tidiness seemed almost incongruous with antiques. In the course of my wandering through the shop, I came upon a lovely set of white enamelware in excellent condition. It was a real eye-catcher. I saw a lot of items that could be regarded as giftware. Overall, I thought that prices were fair. This is a great place to shop for antiques. I highly recommend a visit. I rate Carriagetowne Antiques & Uniques at 4.25. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below. See more..

  19. 4.0 Rusty Bucket Antiques (1 review)
    - UNEXPECTED FIND TUCKED AWAY IN THE NORTHLAND MALL
Sunday: Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
    Rusty Bucket Antiques image
In Plaistow on a daytrip, I stopped at the Northland Mall for lunch at Louis Roast Beef & Pizza and then went over to Rusty Bucket Antiques a few doors away. I found Rusty Bucket Antiques to be a fun place jam-packed with all kinds of old things to browse. There were a lot of small collectibles, some art, two old gas pumps, a good amount of furniture, home decor, some racks of clothes, and more. I even saw an antique child’s pedal car. Back at the front counter I looked at two costume jewelry rings. One was a large oval deep purple stone surrounded by clear crystals. The other was in the form of a butterfly with smooth opaque stones in lavender --- possibly sea glass --- in the forewings and two clear crystals in lavender in the hindwings. Both rings were $3.00 each. I really loved the butterfly ring. That’s the one I got. As Meredith, the Saturday helper, and I finished up the sale, the owner arrived. I got to meet him. Both were very knowledgeable and cordial. I enjoyed looking around this shop. It was impossible to take in everything in one visit so I’ll be stopping by again when I eat at Cafe El Camino, a recently-opened Mexican restaurant also in the Northland Mall adjacent to Heavenly Deals, a non-profit consignment shop that sponsors charity benefits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the ASPCA. I previewed that shop on this visit and will explore it more next time. I rate Rusty Bucket Antiques at 4.0. It was an unexpected find tucked away in the Northland Mall. 20. 4.0 Fern Eldridge & Friends Antiques (1 review)
    - ANTIQUES SHOP WITH LOTS OF FURNITURE WITH ORIGINAL FINISHES
    Antique Shops
Fern Eldridge & Friends Antiques is located in a historic two-story barn built in the 1700’s. It is on Northwood’s Antique Alley on US Route 4 right next to the Northwood Town Hall. This antiques shop hosts a number of dealers and specializes in authentic, unaltered antique furniture with its original finish, plus other home décor. Most of the furniture is small to medium size. There were few larger pieces. I did see some mid-sized table and chair sets. During my visit, I admired several candle and occasional tables as well as some paintings. I particularly liked a painting of USS Constitution a/k/a Old Ironsides. The shop has a wide variety of items. I also saw Shaker baskets, china and pottery, serving pieces, a tea set, mirrors, a coat rack, folk art, wooden bowls, wooden boxes, wooden chests, lanterns, candlesticks, chandeliers, a model ship, some collectibles, and a number of quilts and other textiles such as braided and hooked rugs. In one area, there was an extensive collection of wooden duck decoys on display. There was one case up front that had some jewelry. Most pieces were cameos. Nearby were some walking sticks. There was one architectural piece I admired. It was a clear window with blocks of colored glass panes all around the edge. The shop is arranged in room format which gives the place a rambling-on-forever quality, so it’s a great place to get lost exploring all the treasures in search of that special find. Many of the items are in exceptionally fine condition and have commensurate prices. I rate Fern Eldridge & Friends Antiques at 4.75. I highly recommend a visit. - ANTIQUES & VINTAGE ITEMS
    Sunday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
    Antiques, Etc. image
Shopping in downtown Exeter, I came Antiques, etc. Inside, I found that the shop had some vintage items besides the expected antiques. Browsing the store, I saw paintings, glassware, two old-fashioned seltzer makers, some vintage handbags and shoulder bags as well as some small evening bag clutches. One curiosity was a mysterious painting that featured a spherical object and something behind it. It wasn't clear if it was a person or something else. There was an antique urn that was quite pretty. The Pillsbury Doughboy cookie jar was a cute piece of nostalgia. Like other stores in Exeter, I thought that it was a very nice shop with quality items. In all my years of shopping in downtown Exeter, I’ve never seen anything junky in any of the shops. I rate Antiques, etc. at 4.50 and can recommend stopping in to look around. The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews. If you found this review useful, please click HELPFUL. See more..
