  2. 4.5 Cannon Mountain (422 reviews)
    - One of the best we’ve been to in NH
    Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mountains • Ski & Snowboard Areas
    Cannon Mountain image
Cannon has something for everyone. The Tuckerbrook family area is great for beginners and the 2100 foot vertical is good for those more experienced. Cannon is best resort so far you get access to on the Indy Pass. I would go January through March as going in December left several runs closed and quite icy. That being said, it’s a lovely area with good runs. Rentals are like 50.00 though. Get the Indy pass and enjoy 2 days here. See more..

  6. 4.0 Pats Peak (160 reviews)
    - Great February Vacation Pricing - Pay one Price 3-closing! Fun time!
    Ski & Snowboard Areas
    Pats Peak image
My son and his friends thoroughly enjoyed the mountain. They skied 2 days from 3-closing for the pay one price that included skis, snowboard, tubing, rentals and lift ticket. Such a deal even my 17 year old and his friends asked to ski later because of the cost. The employees were not sure on the pay one price deal and didn't seem to know that you could purchase them earlier starting at noon for $10 per hour... also didn't tell us that we needed to let them know we needed rentals... first day was very confusing because of that. Husband and I hung out in the lodge - upstairs is mostly quieter than downstairs and has a fire going. Ate at the pub which was good though food is pretty pricey overall even in the cafeteria. I was very pleased with this mountain. The staff was very helpful while getting rentals and my kids skied so much better after their lesson than when we started that day. We had a great time on the slopes. The prices lunch prices were a bit more than I would have like, but are right in line with other places. See more..

  10. 5.0 Wolfeboro Cross Country Ski Association (13 reviews)

Wolfeboro Cross Country Ski Association image
I love this place and feel so lucky to live in a town with its own groomed cc-ski system. Get your ski pass downtown at the Nordic Skier shop and they can give you up to date trail information and where to go as there are a few different locations in town with groomed skiing. There is also an email list serve they can help you to join that sends out ski reports and grooming conditions after each snowfall. The Nordic Skier is a full cc-ski shop with everything you'll need, including ski rentals. They also offer a season pass that allows you to ski at will anytime there is snow. Why not go after work with your headlight? The Sewell Woods area has its own warming hut with changing room, hot drinks, and snacks. Over by the Abenaki ski hill there are more trails and you can use the ski lodge with bathrooms and food. There are 30 km of cc-skiing available between the combined locations. In the summer time Sewell Woods keeps the trails maintained for biking and running. See more..
