Whale's Tale Waterpark, New Hampshire, United States

4.5 (498 reviews) Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent Ranking #4 in New Hampshire Water Parks

Fantastic

Staff was incredibly polite, courteous, and helpful. The park was impeccable and well kept, lifeguards appeared tentative and alert and professional. When we arrived at 10:20 am on 8/19 we were a bit shocked to see the long line for bag check/park check in but we only waited in line about 15 minutes as staff was able to quickly but thoroughly check bags. The park is small and navigable enough to easily ride every attraction more than once but spread out sufficiently to not feel crowded. This was my family’s first visit but it won’t be our last. We had a blast!

Hidden gem water park - try a cabana!
Park is a blast! Highly recommend renting a cabana, especially if it is during busy season - try to do it 1 or 2 weeks before (though tricky to predict the weather). You really can’t beat the price - it includes a locker and bottles of water. We booked one near the heated pools which was a good central location. Our personal server Kayla was friendly and attentive. Lifeguards were helpful and personable. We were able to try wake boarding and it was so fun! One of the lifeguards at that post was great - once a person got the hang of it, she would instruct and encourage them to safely try more advanced moves. The park had a lot of different slides, but wasn’t too huge. Really had a great experience with all the staff. My only complaint would be to redo the wave pool floor.
