Santa's Village, New Hampshire, United States

A Great Family Spot!

Santa’s Village is a terrific place to spend a busy and fun family day. The grounds are spotless and the staff is friendly and helpful to all. There are plenty of rides, shows and activities like the alphabet hunt are fun. Kids can collect letters on punch cards by stopping a elf statues around the park and then turn their cards in fora “diploma” from the elf university at the end of the day. The rides and activities are geared to a good mix of ages. We had kids from 5 to 10 in our group, and there was more than enough for everyone to enjoy. Food is always a killer at these types of parks, but from our experience it was pretty good and affordable. We had pizza and drinks for our group of ten. The pizza was made to order and the cost was about $75 - pretty fair. They were also celebrating Halloween, and several locations around the park had small treats for the kids. And finally there’s the man himself, Santa Claus. He was terrific with the kids and they all had a good visit without feeling rushed. Pictures are available. This is a must-visit when on a trip to the White Mountains.

Amazing experience. Great for all ages.
Traveled with a 3yo and 5yo on a summer vacation. Here are our takeaways 1. It helps to get there early as we showed up 7 mins after the park opened and the main lot was already full but the lines everywhere were pretty reasonable 2. Park is very clean, there are trash cans (little penguins) everywhere, all the bathrooms were very clean, it was one of the cleanest parks we've been to. 3. Hit Santa and the skyway sleigh ride first. With 2 young children, any extended waiting is always dangerous. Santa was one of our first stops and we waited maybe 5 mins where as by lunchtime you were probably waiting at least a half hour 4. There is no fast pass/quick access system but for a park like this I think it's actually a good thing. We didn't wait more than 20ish mins and that was only for 1-2 rides. 5. We packed a lunch (you can bring anything in) but the had ice cream, donuts (they spell it doenuts), and other snacks that were all excellent 6. Strollers are free (although they do ask for donations) so unless you need it for storage I wouldn't bring anything bulky. The strollers don't provide any shade though so on a hot/sunny day that could be more problematic. We brought a small umbrella stroller that worked well and took out another, that worked well. 7. It did not end up being warm enough to enjoy any of the small water park that is included with admission but what we did see looked like a lot of fun. 8. They have capacity limits and while parking was packed, the park did not feel overcrowded. 9. It's in the middle of nowhere with poor service so have your tickets downloaded before hand (you can't buy tickets at the park)
