Diana's Baths, New Hampshire, United States

Crowded, but beautiful

We hiked at Diana's Baths on a Tuesday morning. It's got a beautiful series of waterfalls, and it is near North Conway, and that leads to crowds. It's certainly not a quiet nature experience! It is very popular with families with small children, and dog owners. The trail is well maintained and is pretty easy hiking up to where the falls begin. The National Forest fee for parking is $4 per car, and that gets you into any other WMNF lot the rest of the day--we found that quite reasonable. But parking can also be crowded. As we were leaving, the lot was completely full, and someone was waiting behind us to take our spot. I suggest going early!

    Diana's Baths
Just a short hike through the woods will get you to a cascading river with water holes to swim in, water falls, and water slides. There is even a 8 - 10 foot deep hole which is about 2 1/2 feet in diameter in the middle of the river in a rock. It's an exciting plunge- only for the brave of heart!
