   De Bogaard had its glory days in the seventies when people would come from surrounding cities like Delft to shop. Then after a big fire it started declining. Currently it is in a somewhat revived state, mostly thanks to the presence of a big Mediamarkt electronics shop and an Albert Heijn XL. Plus many other shops including Hema and McDonalds.    We loved this small piece of heaven in Delft. Fair warning: if you don't like to garden, or like to visit gardens, this tour may not be for you. It only cost 4 Euros to visit. There is a medicinal garden, hot houses and a variety of paths with various trees, shrubs and flowers to walk along. All of the signs are in Dutch. It would have been nice to have a few in English. Unfortunately, we toured the garden in between the spring bloom and the summer bloom. I think it would be more spectacular to see the flowers in bloom, but we loved seeing the variety of plants and the relaxing nature of getting away from the crowds of the town. See more..

    We have been to all Uk center parcs and the dome and swimming pools are far better lots more to do. Thaw accommodation is nice we had a lodge right in the sea front with great views of the marina. This one is more for the younger kids as kids of 14 + would get a little board but great to cycle for miles great beaches and bars and restaurants on them. A week here £480.00 a week in Uk £2800.00 !!! We also went to one in France very good on £465.00 for a week well worth trying. See more..

    I really enjoy this place. Very relaxing, small but that is what I like. I had a great time. Friendly staff too. Just very confused why there are Buddha's in the relaxing area. Personally I would like it they were not there as it makes me feel uncomfortable because of what they mean to some and it is connection to religion for some people which not everyone practises.     We had a dismal experience here. We were there bowling for a children's party. Right at the end, before we had the fries and soda ordered one of the kids was picked up by her parent. Then the folks at this "party center" had the audacity to claim that the party arrangement (for 8 kids) was no longer valid and we had to pay the full price for two lanes and everything.     Huys te Warmont is the cute kind of castle of the Estate Huys te Warmond. It's probably from 1300 with two different towers, one with a clock and the other with sundial. The house is now a private property and not open to the public but the estate is open for the public. It's a nice area to walk around and enjoy the nature.     You can see this 35m high lift bridge from far away. Dating from the mid 1930s it is part of the improved Gouwe waterway between Rotterdam and Amsterdam. It must have been quite spectacular sight at the time, because of its technological wonders and it still is. Cycling from Rotterdam to Amsterdam through the green heart of Holland you will come across this bridge. Because whilst the kids are enjoying themselves everytime we visit, for the parents the story is different. Due to the accoustics of the place it is almost impossible to work quietly, unless you bring noise-cancelling headphones and music. Wifi is available for free and adequate.     We took the train from Port Zeeland for a 30 minutes ride. Of the 30 minutes you only sctuslly ride 10 minutes along the coast on the damm. For the test of the 20 minutes you ride on the street amongst Traffic. Also, the price per person is 5 euro and we even had to pay 5 euro for our baby of 1,5 years who sit on our labs !!!
