   Really interesting and beautiful place that is certainly worth a visit. Even though Archeon is a great place for kids we visited as adults and had a great time and found it to be very interesting. It's particularly nice how everything is open and you can really touch and interact with the exhibitions. If you have the Museumkaart or just fancy doing something different when in the Netherlands I would highly reccomend a visit! See more..

Fort 1881, het voormalige Fort aan den Hoek van Holland, is in 1881 gebouwd om de ingang van de Nieuwe Waterweg en de haven van Rotterdam te verdedigen vanwege oorlogsdreigingen.
