    We rented a polyvalk and had a great time on the water. Kaag Island is very picturesque. It was fun to arrive by pond. The boat was in great condition and the staff helped with raising the sails. The little wooden island in front of the marina is very convenient for rigging the sails. Highly recommend if you have some sailing experience and want a nice day on the water for a reasonable price!     I am a veteran escape roomer and did two of the rooms at this company on a recent escape room weekend. We did the exicution and Jason’s revenge. I loved The exicution and liked Jason’s revenge. The exicution is not like anything I’ve done before and had many many surprises. There’s still one part that I can’t quite understand how they did it. Jason’s revenge also had a few surprises but it felt a bit worn down at times. To top it all off they had a great staff. I only wish we had had time to do the other rooms at the company.     This is the only remaining citygate in Dordrecht... the foundations of this gate date back from the fourteenth century, but it's current state and look dates back from the 17th century. It is different from any other city gate that I have seen in the Netherlands, both in colour and with it's decorations... This really is a must see!. not only for the Gate itself, but also this point of town with a great view on the water and all the terraces/ restaurants/ cafes that are there. The Gate is currently part of a Hotel/ Restaurant, but you can still see it and go under it without having to go and eat there. So many heroic stories of Dutch people fleeing the German occupation. But to top it all off, there was a gentleman who works there who knew an amazing amount of first-hand stories. It is more quiet than the beaches straight in front of Noordwijk and has a large parking lot with a fee of just 2 Euros. There are also several restaurants, a surf rental shop and there is a guardhouse on the beach. It is popular for kitesurfers and dogowners but also quite suitable for regular beach recreation. There are also stretches where dogs are welcome outside the time window of June 1st - August 31st and stretches where they are welcome on-leash. Dogs are also welcome year-round at beach club Bubbels (formerly known as Take-2) and off-season at many more beach clubs.     Let me start by indicating that as an Aussie of Dutch parents - who lived through the war period - this museum has a personal appeal. It helped me to better understand what daily life was like during the German occupation. I stumbled on to this small museum after visiting the Van Gijn Huis which is next door. The 2 Euro entrance was great value. The museum is packed with donated items (ration cards, improvised equipment and substitute items used by the locals during the occupation). The museum also explains the significance of the Dordrecht area in the war. The exhibits are well labelled - most in English as well as Dutch. It is a real tribute to the efforts of many volunteers. I was also fortunate to have a volunteer walk me through the rooms and tell me much of the details behind many of the display items (mainly in English) and answer my queries.     This small museum is beautifully set out and the entrance is extremely reasonable - only 12 Euros per adult including an hour ride on the tramway. The history of this tramway is fascinating and, as we were with Dutch friends who remember it running through Rotterdam we got extra information from them.
