A nice museum on a rainy day
Even in nice weather well worth a visit. Ofcourse the museum deals with the fishing history of Katwijk, but the collection of paintings is amazing, much more than you would expect from an unknown museum. On the top floor you will find a presentation of escapees from the German occupation to England. Well documented and very interesting. All that for a small entrance fee.

Interesting find
What an interesting place. A fascinating overview of Katwijk including fishing history, famous artists and its time during the war. It does not sound interesting but it really was. The art work on display was worth the entrance fee on its own.

Surprisingly interesting museum
The museum appeared to be surprisingly nice and interesting. Usually in such small places like Katwijk museums are pretty small with not a lot to see. But not this one. It has a lot to offer - big collection of boat model, shows the life of old Katwijk, has some collection of paintings. Don't miss it.
