  1. 5.0 B&J Diving Centre (666 reviews)
    - The go-to dive centre on Tioman: highly recommended
    Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    B&J Diving Centre image
I have dived with B&J on Tioman several times. This latest trip again confirmed that they are one of the most professional dive operations on the island: good for both experienced leisure divers like myself, and for learners from beginners upwards to much higher levels. Their facilities, equipment and operations are all of good quality, and well run. And their staff, from owners Ben and Martin downwards, are friendly and generally a delight to deal with. A further bonus is that they have what is now virtually the only decent bar on the island, right beside the dive centre and their adjacent Tioman Dive Resort. The latter is also a good place to stay at, with well maintained quality rooms (though there are other cheaper options nearby if you are on a budget). See more..
  2. 5.0 Blue Heaven Divers (370 reviews)
    - Very nice diving
    Monday: 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Blue Heaven Divers image
We really enjoyed diving with Blue Heaven Divers in July 2022. Aki and Aiko are very kind and attentive. Aki takes care to guide very small groups (just us two and our friend) and is very careful underwater and takes time to make clear briefings and safety checks before dives. We also enjoyed detailed explanations on fishes and corals after the dives and precise diving tips (breathing techniques, buoyancy, efficiency with fin movements and so on). Gear was in very good condition. Aki brought us to the nicest spots which were a delight to dive, special bonus with a guitar shark on tiger reef, and a many spotted sweet lip juvenile jiggling in one tree bay, and so many other things. Thanks! See more..
  3. 5.0 Tioman Dive Centre (333 reviews)
    - Best place for you to get certified as a diver :D
    Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Tioman Dive Centre image
I did my Open Water with Tioman Dive Centre and would highly recommend anyone else that is planning to get their diving license to go with them. Amir was our instructor and he is super patient with us and make sure he spend equal amount of time to each student and giving advises on where to improve during the entire course. Also, Amir is a funny guy where he would crack jokes during courses so that we wouldn't feel nervous during the course and even though he is a funny person, he can be strict while diving because safety comes first :) Besides that, other staff (Mel, Arie, SImon, Rosie and etc) were friendly as well where they make sure we felt comfortable during our dive course. Make sure to do a fun dive with them after your course! it would be super fun :D See more..

Juara Scuba Diving is the perfect place to get SSI certified or to book a dive trip, and Faza was an absolutely outstanding instructor. Our instructor had an amazing ability to be incredibly calm and encouraging as you take your first breath underwater. You feel completely safe with him below water. Overall great experience and I’d recommend Juara Scuba Diving is the perfect place to get SSI certified or to book a dive trip, and Faza was an absolutely outstanding instructor. 6. 4.5 Genting Skyway (1.507 reviews)
    - A very Efficeint Cable Car Network
    Spent 1-2 hours Trams
    Genting Skyway image
This cable car network is a marvelous way to travel between Genting Awana, the Genting Premium Outlets Shopping Mall on the lower part of the hill and the Genting Sky Avenue Shopping Mall and First World Plaza on the top of the hill. If you purchase a 2-way ticket, you will get a small discount. A 1-way ticket costs RM10 per adult, whereas the 2-way ticket costs RM18 per adult. If you have time, I recommend that you explore the Chin Swee Temple which is located halfway in between the 2 main cable car stations for a trip into Chinese culture and mythology. This attraction is completely free of charge for everyone! See more..

  9. 4.5 Juara Turtle Project (187 reviews)
    - Definitely worth a visit and your support!
    Visitor Centers
    Juara Turtle Project image
We stayed nearby and visited the Juara Turtle Project. The set up is simple but the people working there are passionate and well-informed about the work they do to save these endangered animals. You can take a little tour of the place for a couple of ringgit. If you're lucky and you've come at the time when the eggs are about to hatch, there is the possibility to come back at night to see the little turtles make their way to the sea. At the end of the tour, you can watch two little films, which are very informative. We bought some small souvenirs at the end, just to support this great cause. The staff are also doing great work in trying to educate the locals about the plight of the turtles and get them to recycle glass/tins. They have placed recycling bins all over this side of the island. Well done and keep it going! Thank you! See more..

  11. 4.5 Cherating River (155 reviews)
    - A tour not to be missed in Cherating
    Bodies of Water
    Cherating River image
It was just magical travelling down the river with fireflies blinking along the banks and under a cool starry night. The boatman skillfully steered the boat very near the low-lying branches to attract the fireflies to his special lantern. The ride was around 90 minutes long and we enjoyed every minute of the tour. 12. 4.5 Rainbow Waterfall (137 reviews)
    - Good experience after long break
    Waterfalls
    Rainbow Waterfall image
Its a must try experience. the 1 hour ride at the back of a pick up truck is a good adventures experience. The climb was good. The hike is about 45min - 1 hrs, But the waterfall hiking is bit dangerous due to slippery stones. Make sure to wear a good hiking shoes. Be prepared to get wet. Those dont have a proper shoe, can rent a rubber shoe at the base for rm3. But be prepared, the rainbow will not always be there. Its depending to the weather. We didn't get the change to see it. 13. 4.5 Bukit Panorama (112 reviews)
    - Absolutely amazing view from Bukit Panorama aka Sunrise Hill
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Bukit Panorama image
1 of the things must do at Sungai Lembing is to wake up early morning & hike up to Panorama Hill 400m for sunrise She took a 4WD ride with friends to be up this round Absolutely love the beautiful breathtaking sunrise panorama view shrouded by the morning mist & breathe in fresh cool air Last time, she has hike by foot on the stairs going up the hill, only small sections are without the staircase. So, do bring a torch light for your early morning hike. Usually approximately 30mins to 45 mins hiking journey to reach the summit for amazing sunrise scenery Free admission Highly recommended this place for you all to visit it when in SG Lembing, enjoy it :) Hope my sharing here is useful for your trip then See more..

    Farms
    Cameron Bharat Tea Estate image
Do not miss this feats of colour and history We took the golf buggy down to the centre with Morgan our driver who had worked the plantation for 30 years. Morgan gave us such authentic insight into the tea process, the history and his own personal experience. What an asset. Please thanks Morgan for bringing the experience to life for us. Suggestion. Ask all your gollf drivers to share their Cameron Heights experiences and tell folks about the tea process. Thank you again! See more..
  15. 4.0 Mossy Forest (941 reviews)
    - You cannot miss a visit here if you are staying in the Cameron Highlands!
    Forests
    Mossy Forest image
I will start off by saying that I strongly recommend you book a tour with a local tour guide for two reasons. 1. They will most likely drive you up in a Land Rover or other such vehicle that will be well suited the winding, narrow road that leads up to the forest and 2. You will gain invaluable knowledge that the guide has cultivated over years. I booked my tour through Father's Guest House where I was staying and Raju was my tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and shared the names of most of the plants in English (UK and Canadian), Malay, and Chinese! He also shared lots of knowledge on the ecology of the forest and conservation as well. It is best to do this on a clear day otherwise you will be stuck in the clouds as that altitude is sometimes also known as cloud forest. But the views from the top are amazing and it is some good exercise to walk up and down all the stairs. See more..
  16. 4.0 Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary (874 reviews)

  17. 4.0 Teluk Chempedak (722 reviews)
    - Great beach and cafe
    Beaches
    Teluk Chempedak image
Expansive beach with fast food outlets - Mac Donald’s, Starbucks etc. But Walk along the bridge to a lovely smaller beach with a small rustic cafe with shade, a camping area and swings for the kids. Big beach and big waves, we had to be careful with our younger children as a strong current. The cafe is run by a really friendly couple who made us local snacks and fresh coconut juice. A great visit for all the family See more..
  18. 4.0 Taman Negara National Park (483 reviews)
    - Great nature yet requires maintenance
    National Parks
    Taman Negara National Park image
Great park in the middle of Malaysian Peninsula, although requires a fair bit of maintenance. From the south enter by long boat, then pay an entrance fee per day plus fee for using a camera/phone camera, total RM6/day entrance. You can do various walks and treks in the park, check out the various hides to spot wildlife, walk up and across the worlds longest canopy walk, night walks and take a boat trip on the river. So good selection of activities on offer. The boardwalks are very poorly maintained so be careful as they drop when walking in them, of where required you’ll step around broken boards. The canopy walk only opens at 9am and becomes very busy quickly, so be prepared to wait in line. During my time I saw and heard lots of birds, monkeys, frogs, scorpions, spiders, snakes. Great park for nature lovers. See more..
  19. 4.0 Genting Highlands Premium Outlets (478 reviews)
    - A shopping therapy
    Shopping Malls
    Genting Highlands Premium Outlets image
A rejuvenating trip. Since its half way up to Genting highland, the view is fantastic with cooling air away from the busy city life. The shops are always on sale so if you are looking for bargains can head up here. But be prepared during weekends the queue would be really long especially at Coach, MK, and other popular brands. It can be tiring too but you can always rest at the many restaurants and cafe available there. See more..

  22. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Trail No. 10 (249 reviews)
    - Nice hike
    Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Trail No. 10 image
After reading the article "a complete hiking guide to Cameron highlands" from "bucketlistly blog", we decided to do the same trail as the blogger (a combination of trail 10 and 6), you'll find the circuit and the other trails in details on the blog... The moderate hike in the forest was really nice, but once at the top, we found that the view was spoiled by some big buildings. On our way down, we went throught trail 6, its first part was steep and very narrow as said in the article. At the end of the hike, we passed throught a tea plantation and because it is a private property, we had to pay 3Rm per person for passing from there. The view of the tea plantations was nice but having seen many gorgeous ones in Sri Lanka, i should say that it was not that attracting for us. (Maybe we just became a little hard to please!) 24. 4.0 Sam Poh Temple (220 reviews)
    - A temple that matches with the ambiance
    Religious Sites
    Sam Poh Temple image
Nothing much to brag about it but the place is calm and soothing, just like most of the Buddhist temples in this part of the world. There are mainly 2 setups of statues and both are glittering and nice. Learned a bit about the Buddhism while visiting and they offered free book - one of which is about mental peace and worth reading. If you have time and not fussy about religious beliefs, can visit this place. See more..

  27. 4.0 Cameron Highlands (195 reviews)
    - Traffic jam is a nightmare in cameron highlight.
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Cameron Highlands image
We only enjoyed the weather and even our kids age 10 and 13 don't feel like going back again. The foods there is limited and their farm experience is not that fantastic and abit expensive compared to other countries we went before. There is only 1 route going up or down to those places of interest and we waste alot of timing just to travel from 1 place to another place. A normal 10 mins drive will have to be about 1 hr if there is a jam so better to avoid peak period. See more..
  28. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 (161 reviews)
    - beautiful camping experience at the top of Brinchang
    Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 image
My partner and I drove up all the way to the peak and camp for a night. If you are thinking of driving, you got to be a little careful. The roads are not very well indicated and some of the turns are sharp and small. We still managed thou. There is a parking lot up there. so we parked our cars and then went to pitch our tent in the jungle. We woke up to sunrise and it was beautiful. However there is no water supply or whets ever, so get your necessities from the toawn before heading up. We cooked too. It was cold at night so bring more layers. See more..

    Gunung Brinchang image
First you have to drive to the Boh Plantation and enjoy their cakes and a nice cup of tea. Then you walk up to the Lookout Point which is 174 metres up. Nice walk with hand guard railings to assist you in the climb. It was a beautiful sunning Tuesday morning when I did the climb. The view from the top is surreal you're surrounded by greens just green scenery. You can see the tea plantation and the surrounding jungle and the mountains behind. Simply breathtaking and a must see place when you're up in Cameron Highlands See more..
