Heard a lot of good reviews abt this place from friends and hence paid a visit last year. Totally in awe with its warm hospitality, amazing views, humble zen x industrial design buildings. Beautiful landscaping too. Was mesmerized by their largest buddha statue called Dorje Shugden? Heard it's a powerful buddha to clear obstacles. They have this rescued birds area, i fell in love with the parrots who can talk! It's really compassionate for the founder to have created this place to keep unwanted birds. Went for the durian plant tour with my wife and son. Farm owner is very hospitable and make us feel so welcome. He took great efforts to explain to us how different variety of durian look and taste despite the fact that they normally.only conduct the tour for a minimum of 10 guest per session. He is passionate about durians and if you want to learn and taste the best organic durian out there, this is certainly a stop you should not miss. Just a pre-warning: for those who doesn't like to travel on farm roads with your car, you will need to hunt for other places as you need to drive around 3km in and out of "jungle road" from main road. We made a visit to Bentong on the weekend. This temple is just by the roadside near the town area. This is a temple you should visit if you are in Bentong for the weekend market or the waterfalls. It is an old temple, bright red in colour, over 130 years old of history is kept in certain parts of the temple. When you enter this simple looking temple, do look up, the surprise is on the ceiling, very unique, one of a kind, you cannot see it elsewhere. The entrance to the temple is also nicely decorated, newly renovated, fresh paint and dragon statues on both sides. It is not a huge temple, a single building, very simple with unique pieces of history that are worth seeing with your own eyes. See more..

it is our first trip in Bentong and we have absolutely no idea about this place. We happened to walk into Bentong Gallery and were extremely impressed by Amy's excellent customer service. She was welcoming with warm smile and had answered all our queries satisfactorily. She listened to questions from all areas attentively and offered us with options for consideration. She served with patience and did not rush us off despite it was almost closing. You can access to Gunung Rajah entrance from Chamang Waterfall park using the logging road trail. From trailhead 34km to peak. Took us 13 hours and multiple water stream crossing. Yes your shoes will be wet and you will hike in wet shoes for the entire journey. A very tough hike. You need to be physically very fit and mentally strong for this one unfortunately. Visited Chamang Waterfall today mid morning where it was not crowded with tourist and it was definitely worth the visit. The waterfall definitely was and it’s a good place to have a good picnic getaway from the city area especially during a weekday. A medium-sized family run orchard located near Bentong, Pahang. We have approximately 300 trees that produce various varieties of durians such as Musang King, D24, tekka, D2, D101 and of course the classic "Durian Kampong". Jimmy's Durian Orchard is just a short and easy one hour drive (or less) from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. As it is situated right beside the Karak Highway, you won't have difficulty finding it! Visitors to our orchard may enjoy an educational talk by the owner, Jimmy where one can learn about the biology of the trees, how to identify varieties of durians and also most relevantly (and importantly!) how to choose a good durian. Rest assured that you will only be given fresh good quality durians! After stuffing yourself in the orchard, visitors are encouraged to buy and bring back durians, We offer quality that you just can't find in the city. Other than durians, the orchard also has mangosteens, rambutans, duku and a variety of local fruit.
