  10. 4.5 Sak Dato Temple (14 reviews)
    - Charming temple
    Religious Sites
    Sak Dato Temple image
This is a little temple set upon a hillside, so there are lots of steps leading up the the halls, the garden, the koi pond, and the suspension bridge. The main hall faces the road, and is easily accessible by two short flight of stairs. Visiting the other areas requires climbing more steps, but there are several chairs for resting. There are plenty of opportunities for photo-taking with the various statues, and excellent view of the area. The koi pond has a tiny bridge across it, and the plants in the herbs garden are laid out neatly, and labelled. There is a short suspension bridge across to another hill where there is a giant statue of the Monkey King, but there was construction going on, so we did not cross. There was a special celebration planned for that weekend that we went, so the entire place was spic and span, and beautifully decorated. We concluded our trip with fresh fruit, and refreshing juices from the stalls outside the temple. See more..
  11. 4.5 Gua Batu Maloi by RNR Adventures (12 reviews)
    - Squeeze climb paddle through cave boulders
    Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Caverns & Caves
Gua Batu Maloi by RNR Adventures image
Very beautiful and a physical challenge. Worth going to but be prepared to get wet and wear water shoes. Cover your knees for an easier crawl and wear flexible clothing as it is wet, sandy and narrow spaces and holes need to be squeezed through. I went with a school group (G7&8) and we all loved it. Challenging for some but the guides are really helpful and planned challenging routes through but accommodated routes for others who physically needed a different way. See more..
  12. 4.5 Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest (10 reviews)
    - Great View From The Top
Spent More than 3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Hiking Trails
    Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest image
I went up to three mountains all the way Gunung Datuk, Gunung Gagak and Gunung Rembau which it is called YamTuan Antah Trail. The trail starts off from Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest entrance up to the beautiful view on top of Datuk before we venture more until we reach the Y junction. The group takes up 1 hour and 10 minutes to go up Datuk. It was a high climb straight then another half hour to the Y junction. From there to Gunung Gagak took us another 45 minutes and return the same and more or less 10 minutes to Gunung Rembau. The longer trail would be up to Gunung/Bukit Tampin and that would be a full day of hiking and it is called Trans Naning. Maybe next time. It was a beautiful hike. See a lot of people going up Datuk with some up getting their elevation quota meet for some event. Lucking there was no rain and the sun was shying away from us. Lastly we arrived back at the entrance around 4 pm safe and sound. I will visit Datuk again soon. See more..
  13. 4.5 Gunung Besar Hantu (10 reviews)
    - Awesome trip into the remote jungle
Spent More than 3 hours Mountains
    Gunung Besar Hantu image
I went there early August with a couple of friends. It was planned earlier before MCO but have to postpone it until recently. I was planning to do both Besar and Kecil but unfortunately the team i went with can only go to Besar. Need to plan for another trip. Anyway, the water at the river was so clear and fresh. The taste is more tasty then our normal mineral water. Seems like the jungle is very well preserve and pristine without any human dirty touch. The trail was well marked, single track you will never get loss if you follow it through. The trail was straight up and we managed to get to the top by 11 am. It was cold at the top so bring along a jacket to keep you warm if you want to stay there long. It was a good hike and not to forget the lorry ride from starting point to our cars outside of Kg Chennah and Kg Besok. Beware of the overhanging bamboo trees as the lorry pass by it. See you soon GBH. See more..

  20. 4.0 Cape Rachado (176 reviews)
    - Forget it if you're not fit enough
    Historic Sites • Lighthouses
    Cape Rachado image
I noticed most of the visitors were the hikers with proper attires who use the trails for hiking. Well I guess this attraction is not for everyone. Just forget it if you're not fit enough. It's about 900m walk from the entrance. Initially, the road was fine but the pave gets steeper and steeper as you go further up. About 30 minutes of walking up you'll reach the top, then you gotta climb the concrete stairs to reach the Lighthouse. This is an active Lighthouse so the visitors are not allowed to enter the building. The sea view could be stunning if not been blocked by trees. Overall, it's not a bad place to visit. See more..

    - Pleasant Hike with great views
    Mountains
    Gunung Angsi image
Located not far from Seremban, Gunung Angsi is popular on weekends and public holidays. At 825m it is a hill rather than a real mountain. Ascending from Bukit Putus trail can be tough because the incline is quite steep. However, if you are fit and used to hiking in a tropical climate, you can make it to the summit in 1 to 1.5 hours. Be prepared to be there before 11am as the rangers might decline entry later. Permits can be purchased at RM5 per person at the entry. Free parking. Overall, a good workout. See more..

    - Have fun here.
    Monday: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Art Galleries • Art Museums • Children's Museums
PD Dream World Upside Down & 3D image
When you get inside the upside down house, the ceiling is actually the floor and when you walk around the place, you will notice everything hanging above you. The trick here is to take photographs normally and then edit it upside down to have that weird effect. Make sure you post as if you are upside down too. This place is guaranteed to provide you an awesome time, with smiles and a lot of laughter. It is also shared with an art gallery therefore you will also have the opportunity to take loads of 3D & 5D photographs in the gallery as well. One of the highlights is the Dinosaur, Bear and Elephant animation. See more..
  27. 4.0 Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest (20 reviews)
    - Unfortunate you can't get into the lighthouse
    Spent 2-3 hours Forests
    Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest image
Cost was 1 MYR to enter. The walk up to the Lighthouse - Cape Rachado - is fairly steep but if you take your time and enjoy the scenery then you reach the top in no time. Watch out for monkeys along the way but they only seem interested in the overflowing rubbish bins and getting food from there. The walk is approximately 800 meters and many people were just wearing thongs/flip flops. When you start walking around the outskirts of the lighthouse you get glimpses of deep blue colour water in the Straits of Malacca. There are some other walks off the main track, however they are NOT sign posted so make sure you have plenty of water. See more..

  30. 4.0 Staffield's Golf Course (5 reviews)
    - Beautiful, but...
    Golf Courses
    Staffield's Golf Course image
My heart got split up: one side: I liked the beautiful layout, landscaping of the golf course, which I think isn’t too difficult. On other side: rough cut too short makes it simple, the ground on fairways were hard like concrete as the sand on bottom of one bunker I experienced, which seemed to never been raked over months. But then greens were in good shape, fast and challenging. So all over really worth to play here... But: as it is cheap, and offers senior discounts on Tuesday/Thursday, it gets very crowded! And then: more than an hour drive from downtown KL... See more..
