Forget it if you're not fit enough

I noticed most of the visitors were the hikers with proper attires who use the trails for hiking. Well I guess this attraction is not for everyone. Just forget it if you're not fit enough. It's about 900m walk from the entrance. Initially, the road was fine but the pave gets steeper and steeper as you go further up. About 30 minutes of walking up you'll reach the top, then you gotta climb the concrete stairs to reach the Lighthouse. This is an active Lighthouse so the visitors are not allowed to enter the building. The sea view could be stunning if not been blocked by trees. Overall, it's not a bad place to visit.

Unfortunate that you are unable to enter
The lighthouse is in the Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest. Cost to enter is 1 MYR per person. The walk is quite steep but it bitumen so thongs/flips flops are not a problem. Entrance to the lighthouse is not available as it is still a working lighthouse. The views as you walk around are lovely and there are other treks available off of the main one. Not very well signed so make sure you have plenty of water and good shoes. Lots of monkeys but they are more interested in the bins and getting food scraps than people.

Awsome View on Top of Cape Rachado
Entrance fees to the forest reserve is RM1. Long trekked up to the Cape Rachoda light house. Can't go in to the lighthouse because it is a restricted area. But can enjoyed the view from there. If planning to go there, ready your trekking shoes and some bottle water.
