As frequent visitors to Malaysia we are always looking for something different to do. So having come across Motomaniac we went about booking an an adventure. Dealing with Mark was a pleasure and he kept a very good line of communication open all the way until yesterday when we undertook the trails. We had arranged with Mark return transfers which made for a very easy journey and back with Imran. Motomaniac has a very helpful and pleasant team and the bikes were in a very good condition. All protective gear is supplied and with that we were off on our adventure with our enthusiastic guide. Such great fun and apart from the exhilarating trails we saw water buffaloes and monkeys. This Sunway shopping name as its name suggests, has an Egyptian theme. No question that the theme is a little kitsch, but fun nevertheless. The theme isn’t consistently applied throughout the building, mostly it around the front entrance and starts to fade the further from the entrance. As for the place as a shopping centre, it’s fantastic. The range of shops is amazing, from some standard high street brands to some mid/high end shops. The eating choices are also excellent. Pit boxes have plenty of UK Type G 3pin square plug power sockets, are spacious and the whole layout is pretty stunning. The riders enjoyed the track. There is free wifi in and around the press suite. The downside of this is that everything is F1 priced. If you knew where there was a table shop you'd buy one rather than rent one from the circuit! Price for an airconditioned room was astronomical so they all just stood empty. I can only assume that the circuit totally misjudged the budgets that endurance teams run at in comparison to WSB, Moto-GP, F1, etc. However, it's one of the most scenic circuits in the world without a doubt. The track itself dries really badly and is still completely wet when everything else has dried. The staff are all super friendly but the variety on offer in the rather swanky buffet restaurant is minimal. 2 choices and a bit of salad, that's about it. But for all the moans you just can't rate this circuit as anything other than 5 spots! See more..

Dong Zen Temple is located in Jenjarom within the Kuala Langat district of Selangor state. Dong Zen Temple is founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1994 and serves as the headquarters of Fo Guang Shan Malaysia. Literally translated in Chinese, “Dong” means “East” and “Zen” means “The tranquil mind”. As a phrase, it means “the tranquil mind in the east”, representing the hub of a Buddhist centre in the South East Region. Mdm. Khenh Kian Hong (1934-2005) first donated 2 acres of land to FGS Buddhist Monastery for building of a temple in Malaysia. Later, with the help of Mdm. Khenh, the neighbouring owners agreed to sell their land to FGS. The founder of FGS, Ven. Master Hsing Yun, personally officiated the development ceremony on 24 November 1989, it was developed in 1994 and commenced usage in 1996. We travelled with Fun Life tours twice in April, the trip was with our family members with young and old. The interaction started via Facebook with Mr. Eric, he was professional, friendly and very informative and reliable. He runs this tour remotely while his dad and siblings are on the ground helping tourists by showcasing sky mirror, eagle feeding, fireflies and blue tears tour. Eric and everyone in Fun Life are easy to deal with, super friendly, helpful in answering all of our questions and also provided additional recommendations on restaurants and accommodation. Special shout out to Eric’s sister- Ms. Ng who is the friendly face you will see greeting you at the Fun Life private Jetty. We visited as the first stop of our "monkey feeding, fireflies & blue tears experience" with Jalan with M.K. This was a great trip, starting with the 1 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to Bukit Sri Shakti. We visited this Rotan Hindu Temple for 30 minutes or so, as enroute. The temple was lovely to see and May was able to share a lot of interesting information. No photos allowed from inside the temple which is such a shame as it is really detailed and beautiful, although we took several from outside. See more..
