The booking process started about a month before our trip, Sharifah was very responsive & helpful on WhatsApp which really helped to smoothen the booking process (thank you!!). Also, their prices are very reasonable :) So we came here for 6 dives including a refresher. Over the two days we had with Sea Voice, we dived with 2 of their instructors and 1 dive master but got to know almost the whole team because everyone's very friendly! Our refresher instructor explained things very well and was also helpful in giving tips about scuba equipment. If you come here over Ramadan month, do note that many restaurants may be closed. I'm grateful for those we met in Sea Voice as they helped us figure out our meals. Also super grateful for the awesome dive sites they brought us to! Serenggeh and Panglima Abu was WOW WOW WOW. I wanna go back, so hopefully, god-willing, we'll see you all at SVD again! See more..

Absolutely mind blown how amazing getting my open water at Turtle Bay is. Staff were super friendly and had such a wholesome family vibe. The people you meet are all having the same goal of exploring the marine life. The marine life was lively and stunning. Hands down the most life changing experience. Big shoutout to Azwan for being a patient, informative and fun instructor throughout the course. The skills may get a little overwhelming but you are very safe in his hands - literally the best. We had the pleasure to do a fun dive with Yaakub as well - a very relaxed, reassuring and chill dive at the Pinnacle. The people and diving left such a great impression on us, we are already thinking about doing our Advance soon! To those who are debating where to do your course, Turtle Bay has been operating for many years and have super professional instructors. Took my Advanced OWD with Anand and it was an amazing experience! I would recommend him to anyone looking to get certified! Our group arrived a day late due to a flight delay, and Anand went out of his way to shift things around to accommodate us. He's really chill and easy going, and gave lots of useful tips and advice about diving. It was clear that he's passionate about his sport! Anand also made sure to point out interesting marine life during our dives so even noobs like us were able to see some cool stuff. I had the chance to took my AOW course in Flora Bay Divers and I think I couldn't have made a better choice. Suanne was my instructor and she was thorough and comprehensive during all the sessions. She dedicated as much time as I needed to understand all concepts, and during practice, she kept giving tips to improve my experience and make me a better diver. Never been to a better diveschool before. I planned to stay one week or 10days. Ended up spending 4month doing my efr, rescue diver and divemaster with ohlala. It was so much fun. The whole team is amazing. The divespots are stunningly beautiful and the instructors and divemaster doing their part to give you a great time. The food in the evening seem to be a bit pricey...but trust me EVERY SINGLE DISH is worth the money. If you stay long enough try everything! If you have just a few days go for the pizza or the chicken salad! These were my favorite. I won't make it to go back this year, but I'm definitely going back one day. See more..

Myself and my sons were recommended to dive with Viking by PADI UK. Nadeera was the lady I dealt with via email fro the UK. She was really efficient at answering my queries and being understanding of wether we would be able to travel because of Lockdowns. Once at our resort they came to pick us up and take us back so we could complete the pre dive paperwork. We dive 3 times over 2 days. They kindly picked us up and took us back both days. The whole experience was wonderful, diving, food, guiding, boats and they even arranged for the whale shark and Turtle! If you are in this area I'd thoroughly recommend viking to dive with. I think before you’ve tried freediving, it can seem a bit scary. What with having no oxygen, being deep in the water etc. However, the things that scare us, can sometimes end up in the best experiences - with the right teacher!! My W1 course had 3 people in it, all with no prior freediving experience. Howie was our teacher and he was amazing. He’s extremely patient, knowledgable, supportive and passionate about freediving. I really enjoyed his style of teaching because it seemed like he genuinely cared about imparting the right skills and tools to explore the freediving world safely while still having fun. All of the equipment you need is included in the package, the only thing you need to sort out is your food, travel and accommodation. Although I didn’t get to interact much with the rest of the Andrasa team, my interactions with them were quite warm. I also really like how Andrasa offers Molchanov certification. The advanced open water course was a great experience, the best dives we ever had. They make you feel comfortable and love diving in the Perenthian paradise! Spent a few blissful nights on Perhentian Besar island. Caught water taxis to various beaches on both Besar and Kecil islands and also hired a private boat for a snorkelling tour (just my family) including a visit to the beautiful Rawa Island beach. Accommodation/cafes on both Perhentian islands slowly opening up after Covid but still quiet which was great. Flew into Kota Bahru - caught a taxi to Kuala Besut (50 mins) and then onto a boat for the crossing (50 minutes). Crossing can be a bit rough, life jackets provided. See more..

The lake itself was beautiful, very calming to be in and to look at, especially coming from the city. We took a boat ride that is offered by the operators at the jetty (beside the parking). 80 ringgit for a 20-25 minute boat ride around a small part of the lake. The boat operator was very friendly, and shared with us about the boat houses, the area, etc. There seems to be some walkways around the lake for people to walk around and take a look, but we didn’t have much time. There’s a “canteen” located just beside the jetty, but only one stall was open when we visited and we had some drinks. Takes about 45 minutes to drive from Kuala Terengganu, and it’ll be be very helpful if you can converse in basic Malay too. See more..

If you are considering a dive course, this is definitely the place. Fred, the in-house instructor has good knowledge and he ensures you are able to follow all the steps. Personally, I like that he has trust in his student where he won't interfere you making attempts until he sees you really need help. I don't like to be rushed into learning skills hence his patience in teaching fits me perfectly. The dive masters from Octo are worth a shout out too. This dived proivder is by far the best I have dived with in my 35 years as diver. Very well organised, You can see on the dives on the screen at the terrase as well as on the website. Dive master, location time and places left. After having completed all your dives, you dive log will be mail to you. They have a high focus on safety and all dives master are also trained in first aid. The dive shop is next to the water (20 m) and have free WIFI. My spouse and I were on a family trip, we managed to squeeze in time for one boat dive per day while we were there. There are about 2-3 dive sessions per day and we chose the 2pm boat dive. We rented their equipment (BCD and regulator) and were quite new. We had to setup the first time and the following dives, they have pretty much setup for us. The divemasters are friendly and very knowledgeable, always keep a look out while we are under. I can see the working team (Brent, Wei Hoe, Yun, Rakesh and Tim) are very helpful, jovial enthusiatic lot. We enjoyed our two dives there and we were well taken care of and hope to return to do a proper diving trip. See more..
