4.5Genting Skyway(1.507 reviews) - A very Efficeint Cable Car Network Spent 1-2 hours Trams
This cable car network is a marvelous way to travel between Genting Awana, the Genting Premium Outlets Shopping Mall on the lower part of the hill and the Genting Sky Avenue Shopping Mall and First World Plaza on the top of the hill. If you purchase a 2-way ticket, you will get a small discount. A 1-way ticket costs RM10 per adult, whereas the 2-way ticket costs RM18 per adult. If you have time, I recommend that you explore the Chin Swee Temple which is located halfway in between the 2 main cable car stations for a trip into Chinese culture and mythology. This attraction is completely free of charge for everyone!See more..
Do not miss this feats of colour and history We took the golf buggy down to the centre with Morgan our driver who had worked the plantation for 30 years. Morgan gave us such authentic insight into the tea process, the history and his own personal experience. What an asset. Please thanks Morgan for bringing the experience to life for us. Suggestion. Ask all your gollf drivers to share their Cameron Heights experiences and tell folks about the tea process. Thank you again!See more..
4.0Mossy Forest(941 reviews) - You cannot miss a visit here if you are staying in the Cameron Highlands! Forests
I will start off by saying that I strongly recommend you book a tour with a local tour guide for two reasons. 1. They will most likely drive you up in a Land Rover or other such vehicle that will be well suited the winding, narrow road that leads up to the forest and 2. You will gain invaluable knowledge that the guide has cultivated over years. I booked my tour through Father's Guest House where I was staying and Raju was my tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and shared the names of most of the plants in English (UK and Canadian), Malay, and Chinese! He also shared lots of knowledge on the ecology of the forest and conservation as well. It is best to do this on a clear day otherwise you will be stuck in the clouds as that altitude is sometimes also known as cloud forest. But the views from the top are amazing and it is some good exercise to walk up and down all the stairs.See more..
4.5Chin Swee Cave Temple(929 reviews) - Well worth a visit Points of Interest & Landmarks
Explore this grand religious site located on a sharp, rocky slope near the peak of Resorts World Genting. Embark on a cultural journey through a visual depiction of the afterlife, or simply enjoy the magnificent moutaineous landscape from the temple. 4.0Teluk Chempedak(722 reviews) - Great beach and cafe Beaches
Expansive beach with fast food outlets - Mac Donald’s, Starbucks etc. But Walk along the bridge to a lovely smaller beach with a small rustic cafe with shade, a camping area and swings for the kids. Big beach and big waves, we had to be careful with our younger children as a strong current. The cafe is run by a really friendly couple who made us local snacks and fresh coconut juice. A great visit for all the family See more..
4.5Awana Skyway(546 reviews) - Great experience Thursday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Spent 1-2 hours Trams

Great park in the middle of Malaysian Peninsula, although requires a fair bit of maintenance. From the south enter by long boat, then pay an entrance fee per day plus fee for using a camera/phone camera, total RM6/day entrance. You can do various walks and treks in the park, check out the various hides to spot wildlife, walk up and across the worlds longest canopy walk, night walks and take a boat trip on the river. So good selection of activities on offer. The boardwalks are very poorly maintained so be careful as they drop when walking in them, of where required you’ll step around broken boards. The canopy walk only opens at 9am and becomes very busy quickly, so be prepared to wait in line. During my time I saw and heard lots of birds, monkeys, frogs, scorpions, spiders, snakes. Great park for nature lovers.See more..
A rejuvenating trip. Since its half way up to Genting highland, the view is fantastic with cooling air away from the busy city life. The shops are always on sale so if you are looking for bargains can head up here. But be prepared during weekends the queue would be really long especially at Coach, MK, and other popular brands. It can be tiring too but you can always rest at the many restaurants and cafe available there.See more..

After reading the article "a complete hiking guide to Cameron highlands" from "bucketlistly blog", we decided to do the same trail as the blogger (a combination of trail 10 and 6), you'll find the circuit and the other trails in details on the blog... The moderate hike in the forest was really nice, but once at the top, we found that the view was spoiled by some big buildings. On our way down, we went throught trail 6, its first part was steep and very narrow as said in the article. At the end of the hike, we passed throught a tea plantation and because it is a private property, we had to pay 3Rm per person for passing from there. The view of the tea plantations was nice but having seen many gorgeous ones in Sri Lanka, i should say that it was not that attracting for us. (Maybe we just became a little hard to please!) 4.0Sam Poh Temple(220 reviews) - A temple that matches with the ambiance Religious Sites
Nothing much to brag about it but the place is calm and soothing, just like most of the Buddhist temples in this part of the world. There are mainly 2 setups of statues and both are glittering and nice. Learned a bit about the Buddhism while visiting and they offered free book - one of which is about mental peace and worth reading. If you have time and not fussy about religious beliefs, can visit this place.See more..

4.0Cameron Highlands(195 reviews) - Traffic jam is a nightmare in cameron highlight. Points of Interest & Landmarks
We only enjoyed the weather and even our kids age 10 and 13 don't feel like going back again. The foods there is limited and their farm experience is not that fantastic and abit expensive compared to other countries we went before. There is only 1 route going up or down to those places of interest and we waste alot of timing just to travel from 1 place to another place. A normal 10 mins drive will have to be about 1 hr if there is a jam so better to avoid peak period.See more..
4.5Juara Turtle Project(187 reviews) - Definitely worth a visit and your support! Visitor Centers
We stayed nearby and visited the Juara Turtle Project. The set up is simple but the people working there are passionate and well-informed about the work they do to save these endangered animals. You can take a little tour of the place for a couple of ringgit. If you're lucky and you've come at the time when the eggs are about to hatch, there is the possibility to come back at night to see the little turtles make their way to the sea. At the end of the tour, you can watch two little films, which are very informative. We bought some small souvenirs at the end, just to support this great cause. The staff are also doing great work in trying to educate the locals about the plight of the turtles and get them to recycle glass/tins. They have placed recycling bins all over this side of the island. Well done and keep it going! Thank you!See more..
4.5Cataferry(181 reviews) - Glad took Cataferry Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Ferries
My partner and I drove up all the way to the peak and camp for a night. If you are thinking of driving, you got to be a little careful. The roads are not very well indicated and some of the turns are sharp and small. We still managed thou. There is a parking lot up there. so we parked our cars and then went to pitch our tent in the jungle. We woke up to sunrise and it was beautiful. However there is no water supply or whets ever, so get your necessities from the toawn before heading up. We cooked too. It was cold at night so bring more layers.See more..
4.5Cherating River(155 reviews) - A tour not to be missed in Cherating Bodies of Water
It was just magical travelling down the river with fireflies blinking along the banks and under a cool starry night. The boatman skillfully steered the boat very near the low-lying branches to attract the fireflies to his special lantern. The ride was around 90 minutes long and we enjoyed every minute of the tour.See more..
4.0Gunung Brinchang(138 reviews) - Amazing view from the top (the Look Out Point) at the Boh Plantation Mountains
First you have to drive to the Boh Plantation and enjoy their cakes and a nice cup of tea. Then you walk up to the Lookout Point which is 174 metres up. Nice walk with hand guard railings to assist you in the climb. It was a beautiful sunning Tuesday morning when I did the climb. The view from the top is surreal you're surrounded by greens just green scenery. You can see the tea plantation and the surrounding jungle and the mountains behind. 4.5Rainbow Waterfall(137 reviews) - Good experience after long break Waterfalls
Its a must try experience. the 1 hour ride at the back of a pick up truck is a good adventures experience. The climb was good. The hike is about 45min - 1 hrs, But the waterfall hiking is bit dangerous due to slippery stones. Make sure to wear a good hiking shoes. Be prepared to get wet. Those dont have a proper shoe, can rent a rubber shoe at the base for rm3. But be prepared, the rainbow will not always be there. Its depending to the weather. We didn't get the change to see it. 4.5Bukit Panorama(112 reviews) - Absolutely amazing view from Bukit Panorama aka Sunrise Hill Points of Interest & Landmarks
1 of the things must do at Sungai Lembing is to wake up early morning & hike up to Panorama Hill 400m for sunrise She took a 4WD ride with friends to be up this round Absolutely love the beautiful breathtaking sunrise panorama view shrouded by the morning mist & breathe in fresh cool air Last time, she has hike by foot on the stairs going up the hill, only small sections are without the staircase. So, do bring a torch light for your early morning hike. Usually approximately 30mins to 45 mins hiking journey to reach the summit for amazing sunrise scenery Free admission Highly recommended this place for you all to visit it when in SG Lembing, enjoy it :) Hope my sharing here is useful for your trip thenSee more..
The place opens at 9am so go early to avoid the crowd and the heat. The water is clear and cool and the waterfall beating on your body provides a great massage. Be careful with small children as the water does suddenly get deep at various places. The new SOP is observed quite strictly here with good reason. Everyone has to register and have their temperature taken at the guard house before entering. Parking space is ample. There are also stalls selling finger food in case you get hungry after your swim. My family and I went on a weekday so we were lucky not to be bombarded with a huge crowd. Easily spent an hour here, just enjoying the cool water and then soaking up the sun on the many rocks nearby. Cleanliness is maintained too, hopefully all visitors will continue to keep this lovely spot clean.See more..
4.0Sungai Lembing Museum(82 reviews) - The largest, longest and deepest underground tin mine in the world Speciality Museums
In late March 2012 my wife and I visited the Sungai Lembing museum in Pahang, Malaysia. Sungai Lembing lies 42 km from Kuantan and is easily accessible on a surfaced road, provided one has private transport. For those without their own transport, buses or taxis start from Terminal Kuantan bus. The village currently has 1200 occupants but in its heyday when the mine was fully active had around 20,000. Although the village is somewhat rundown, with many shops closed on the main street, the museum that portrays the history of the mine, is outstanding and free of charge to visitors. The mine was operated by British companies for almost 100 years until its closure in 1986 when tin prices worldwide plummeted and the British company controlling the mine went into liquidation. Tunnels were built, mainly by hand, to a depth of 2000 ft and covered a total distance of 130 km. Although the tunnels cannot be visited as they are unsafe due to flooding and collapse, the museum exhibits tell everything one would like to know about the history and development of the mine with descriptions in both Malay and English. The museum which opens every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is situated on a hilltop in what was the former mine manager's accommodation.Allow an hour to one hour and half to view the exhibits. There are a few local eating places in the village and some basic inexpensive accommodation for those who wish to stay overnight.See more..
One of the cleanest and serene places. We enjoyed a lot. We were staying at Camerin Hughland Resorts. A very Anglo vintage place, which is very well maintained and clean. We loved our stay. We did do the general visits like the tea gardens, sheep feeding, Flower Gardens etc. It was really very busy over the weekend though. But worth the visit.See more..
4.5Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah(72 reviews) - A building worthy of being a state mosque Points of Interest & Landmarks
This mosque is the state mosque of Pahang. It's a nice looking Malaysian Modernist style building with a large baby blue onion dome at the centre with four smaller domes surrounding it. At the corner the building are four high towers (possibly they're minarets. There was a lecture going when I visited, but the caretaker was kind enough to let me in anyway. The caretaker was kind enough to give me a tour of the inside and a clock to wear to look inconspicuous. Which was great as the inside has some great tiles and stained glass windows. A building worthy of being a state mosque.See more..
4.5DiveAsia Tioman(69 reviews) - Fun people, great price and incredible diving Scuba & Snorkelling
I went in a big group so got a great deal, we talked to lots of dive centres on the island but they gave us the best price and I'm so pleased we went with DiveAsia. The dive instructors/masters are up for a laugh and took us to amazing places to dive. The whole experience was really fun and laid back but we still did all the diving we wanted to, which was a lot!See more..
4.5Eco-Divers(68 reviews) - Great experience Scuba & Snorkelling
Nic, James, and Jeff of Eco Divers provided a really first-rate diving experience. They were professional and friendly and really tailored the course to the students' needs. I did the Open Water Diver certification during the tail end of monsoon season, so my friend and I were the only ones in our course. The instructors made us feel comfortable, ensured our safety, and helped us relax and enjoy ourselves as we explored the new world of scuba diving. Not only that, but they had a great sense of humor and were always willing to advise us about what to eat, drink, and see on the island. The center's location is excellent, as well. It's very easy to find when you get off the ferry in Tioman, and you'll get to see a beautiful coral reef on your first dive. Highly recommended!See more..

We were nervous having heard mixed reviews buts it's very simple! Definitely worth it. Simple to navigate from the town centre. Towards MARDI, then head to the 'English cottage' and along the rd, you'll come to a junction and head toward Camelia apartments. Along the right hand side of the appartments there's a narrow gap in the hedge with a trail up the hill. Follow it!! That's trail 7, from then on it's easy to follow all the way up! It took us 2hours up and 1.5 down. Lovely hike and a viewing area at the top! There are overgrown bits and a few trees to navigate around but nothing off putting! Hope these pictures help anyone wanting to go ☺See more..
4.0EQ Strawberry Farm(51 reviews) - Craving to hunt for your own fresh strawberries? Come here! Farms
Conveniently located within walking distance from Copthorne hotel, EQ Strawberry farm has been around for many, many years. I highly recommend this place for first timers, families with young children or if you're just craving to hunt for fresh strawberries. Entrance is free but to enter the strawberry farm to pick the strawberries, you'd have to choose if you want pick 1/2 kg or 1 kg strawberries and be given a styrofoam tray. Prices (as of August 2020) are: 1/2 kg - RM 30 1 kg - RM 60 After picking your own strawberries, your tray will be weighed and then proceed to pay. If you chose 1 kg earlier and final weight is 1.3 kg for example,. you'll pay more for the 300g. Overall, a nice relaxing activity and should be included in your trip to Cameron Highlands.See more..
4.5Gunung Irau (Mount Irau)(50 reviews) - Trans Jerging lives to its reputation... Hard but worth it Mountains
We did the trans jerging hike this time. Starting at G Siku trailhead heading to G Irau and then to Yellow pass and exit. About 20-25km. Took almost 15 hours longest hike in my life and in darkness. View and journey was great. Maybe to split this into 2 hikes in future. 1 water point right after G Siku and then its all work. Bring a lightweight jacket as chilly during hike and will be useful is rain comes. Bring another new t-shirt or jacket for end of journey if you going to be stationary as its really cold in the late evening.See more..

4.0Tan's Camellia Garden(43 reviews) - Passionate plant-loving family, garden with character Gardens
For garden enthusiasts who love to chat about plants. Mr and Mrs Tan are a bit eccentric and love to show their collection of medicinal / culinary herbs and flowers. Lots of things you won't see in Malaysian lowlands. Messy and kinda charming in a very grown-in way. This is very different from the tacky touristy locations in Cameron Highlands. Next to the entrance of Jungle Trail 10. Unfortunate that a government housing project is causing havoc nearby. A rare and more personal experience here. Visit before it's too late.See more..
4.5Pine Tree Trail(42 reviews) - Toughest & Risky Trail ever seen Hiking Trails
A challenging & not easy especially for beginners . Went there with colleagues probably 20 of us . Reached Pine Tree entrance around 1am .... all of us get ready lead by our Malaysian ' Brock Lesnar ' . Actual distance covered from start till journey back was a total of 15.5km . It took us around 4.5 hrs to reach the highest twin peak but need to look into our age factor ( 35 till 50 ) . The most thrilling & risky makes us worried was final stretch of the trail before reach our aim ( 90 degrees going up ) & FYI we did this at 5.30am in the mor . According to the police personnel he's surprised since this was the first time he's came across hikers start at 1am & able pass thru the risky stretch at 5am something ! Salute to ' Hikers Not Quitters ' teamSee more..
4.0Bishop Trail(41 reviews) - Lovely hike through the misty jungle Hiking Trails
We hiked this trail on a morning in late December when the fog had rolled in. The scenery was amazing in the mist. The weather made bird watching a little more difficult but we still got to see some species. The birds were not super active when we went but that's just the luck of the draw. We also heard tree frogs calling and saw two foot-long millipedes, which were amazing! Some parts of the trail before Muar Cottage aren't fully clear. We (mid-20s able-bodied couple) had to crawl through a tunnel of vegetation at one point. We were fine with it, just keep in mind if you have anyone in your group who might struggle with that sort of activity. We started on Hemmant Trail and hiked through to the end of Bishop Trail, which is easy to do if you bring a map. Would recommend this trail. See more..
4.0Taman Esplanade(40 reviews) - Nice view but terrible parking Spent 1-2 hours Piers & Boardwalks • Parks • Playgrounds
The breeze from the river is cooling and the sunset view is beautiful. There’s a small cluster of stalls selling Malay food. Some people are fishing along the esplanade, the river must be bountiful because I saw three birds of prey soaring and diving along the river. An observation tower is currently under construction. Once completed, it will surely attract more people to the esplanade. There’s definitely potential to develop this place into an attraction, but parking needs to be improved to handle more visitors.See more..

Fantastic snorkeling trip for me and my sister. Megat was our snorkeling instructor and he really focuses on safety so I felt very secure as I was snorkeling with my sister who doesn't swim very much. He was with us the whole time and we had a lovely time viewing all the coral and tropical fish surrounding Tunamaya Resort. Also had a chance to meet John, the head of the diving center. What a unique and entertaining character. Not only is he a veteran diving coach, but he's also extremely warm and friendly and I now consider him a friend. 100% recommend this team. Best diving/snorkeling instruction in Tioman.See more..
Growing up in Pahang I have never known this state to have a museum that's with while visiting until this little gem had an upgrade and reopened its doors. The building has been beautifully restored and hopefully it will be well maintained. There are several rooms housing photos and artifacts from the state royal family. Other rooms cover a range of other subjects including traditional games, chins/porcelain, orang asli(native people), Islamic art, etc. The displays are all in good condition and there are a few interactive booths. I particularly enjoyed the one where you can play the different sounds of traditional musical instruments. There is a cafe called Kafe Belibis which serves traditional local Pahang dishes like ikan sungai gulai tempoyak, patin bakar pais and daging ketuk. Unfortunately we got there late and did not have the opportunity to sample any of these. The museum is closed on Mondays and on Hari Rayas. See more..
We were brought here by our resort (Aman Tioman) recreation centre staff and were given around 40 minutes to snorkel around this island. Having seen the online reviews of this place, we expected this to be one of the nicest spots for snorkeling and were not disappointed. We came on two separate days, one in the morning and afternoon. Both days there was much fish and marine life in the surrounding areas. This is the best spot to swim among live corals and small fish, of the 3 snorkelling places the staff took us to (the others being Marine Park and Nemo Reef) It can be quite a popular snorkeling spot and hence the area can get crowded with snorkelers and with small boats parked in the area. The spot is easy to snorkel with the currents not strong. But we were informed not to go near to the rocks due to the presence of sea urchins on the sea floor close to the island.See more..
