  1. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Trail No. 10 (249 reviews)
    - Nice hike

Cameron Highlands Trail No. 10 image
After reading the article "a complete hiking guide to Cameron highlands" from "bucketlistly blog", we decided to do the same trail as the blogger (a combination of trail 10 and 6), you'll find the circuit and the other trails in details on the blog... The moderate hike in the forest was really nice, but once at the top, we found that the view was spoiled by some big buildings. On our way down, we went throught trail 6, its first part was steep and very narrow as said in the article. At the end of the hike, we passed throught a tea plantation and because it is a private property, we had to pay 3Rm per person for passing from there. The view of the tea plantations was nice but having seen many gorgeous ones in Sri Lanka, i should say that it was not that attracting for us. (Maybe we just became a little hard to please!) 2. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 (161 reviews)
    - beautiful camping experience at the top of Brinchang

Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 image
My partner and I drove up all the way to the peak and camp for a night. If you are thinking of driving, you got to be a little careful. The roads are not very well indicated and some of the turns are sharp and small. We still managed thou. There is a parking lot up there. so we parked our cars and then went to pitch our tent in the jungle. We woke up to sunrise and it was beautiful. However there is no water supply or whets ever, so get your necessities from the toawn before heading up. We cooked too. It was cold at night so bring more layers. See more..

    - A serene and pristine visit

Cameron Highlands Trail No. 3 image
One of the cleanest and serene places. We enjoyed a lot. We were staying at Camerin Hughland Resorts. A very Anglo vintage place, which is very well maintained and clean. We loved our stay. We did do the general visits like the tea gardens, sheep feeding, Flower Gardens etc. It was really very busy over the weekend though. But worth the visit. See more..

  5. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Trail No. 5 and 7 (52 reviews)
    - Trail 7 from Tanah Rata town centre.

Cameron Highlands Trail No. 5 and 7 image
We were nervous having heard mixed reviews buts it's very simple! Definitely worth it. Simple to navigate from the town centre. Towards MARDI, then head to the 'English cottage' and along the rd, you'll come to a junction and head toward Camelia apartments. Along the right hand side of the appartments there's a narrow gap in the hedge with a trail up the hill. Follow it!! That's trail 7, from then on it's easy to follow all the way up! It took us 2hours up and 1.5 down. Lovely hike and a viewing area at the top! There are overgrown bits and a few trees to navigate around but nothing off putting! Hope these pictures help anyone wanting to go ☺ See more..
  6. 4.5 Pine Tree Trail (42 reviews)
    - Toughest & Risky Trail ever seen
    Hiking Trails
    Pine Tree Trail image
A challenging & not easy especially for beginners . Went there with colleagues probably 20 of us . Reached Pine Tree entrance around 1am .... all of us get ready lead by our Malaysian ' Brock Lesnar ' . Actual distance covered from start till journey back was a total of 15.5km . It took us around 4.5 hrs to reach the highest twin peak but need to look into our age factor ( 35 till 50 ) . The most thrilling & risky makes us worried was final stretch of the trail before reach our aim ( 90 degrees going up ) & FYI we did this at 5.30am in the mor . According to the police personnel he's surprised since this was the first time he's came across hikers start at 1am & able pass thru the risky stretch at 5am something ! 7. 4.0 Bishop Trail (41 reviews)
    - Lovely hike through the misty jungle
    Hiking Trails
    Bishop Trail image
We hiked this trail on a morning in late December when the fog had rolled in. The scenery was amazing in the mist. The weather made bird watching a little more difficult but we still got to see some species. The birds were not super active when we went but that's just the luck of the draw. We also heard tree frogs calling and saw two foot-long millipedes, which were amazing! Some parts of the trail before Muar Cottage aren't fully clear. We (mid-20s able-bodied couple) had to crawl through a tunnel of vegetation at one point. We were fine with it, just keep in mind if you have anyone in your group who might struggle with that sort of activity. We started on Hemmant Trail and hiked through to the end of Bishop Trail, which is easy to do if you bring a map. Would recommend this trail. See more..
  8. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 2 (27 reviews)
    - Interesting and fun
    Spent 1-2 hours Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 2 image
My friend and I made an impromptu decision to do Trail 2 and we didn't really know the difficulty level beforehand. We're both not really experienced hikers and simply felt adventurous. The beginning was a little scary and it can take a while to find the markers, but it wasn't too tough. Its pretty clearly marked, you just have to keep a lookout. The sights were breathtaking, especially the stream that runs all the way to the agro farms. The water is so clear, and it was just such a treat. It does get a little steep and tricky in between but with patience and a clear mind, you will be able to get to the next stage. Just take it one step at a time and drink plenty of water. Truly a test of resilience, but its worth it in the end. See more..

Slippery at certain points due to all the leaves and quite steep too. Should try to go in from Allen's water area and exit at the mosque. See more..
  10. 2.0 Maxwell Trail (9 reviews)
    - Dangerously lack of maintenance.
    Hiking Trails
    Maxwell Trail image
This was the third and most challenging of the three trails we did on the day. There was quite a few fallen structures and the trail is very narrow. The ground was muddy and quite loose making ascending some slopes very challenging. The upside was I leech free and only one managed to latch onto my husbands leg. This trail needs some maintenance very badly as it is quite a dangerous track. See more..

  13. 4.5 Gunung Rajah (2 reviews)
    - Majestic Waterfall area with a Extremely hard hike for Daypack
Spent More than 3 hours Mountains • Hiking Trails
    Gunung Rajah image
You can access to Gunung Rajah entrance from Chamang Waterfall park using the logging road trail. From trailhead 34km to peak. Took us 13 hours and multiple water stream crossing. Yes your shoes will be wet and you will hike in wet shoes for the entire journey. A very tough hike. You need to be physically very fit and mentally strong for this one unfortunately. The peak view is not super great but this is one of the highest Mountain in Pahang See more..
