Its a must try experience. the 1 hour ride at the back of a pick up truck is a good adventures experience. The climb was good. The hike is about 45min - 1 hrs, But the waterfall hiking is bit dangerous due to slippery stones. Make sure to wear a good hiking shoes. Be prepared to get wet. Those dont have a proper shoe, can rent a rubber shoe at the base for rm3. But be prepared, the rainbow will not always be there. Its depending to the weather. We didn't get the change to see it. Chamang Waterfall image
Visited Chamang Waterfall today mid morning where it was not crowded with tourist and it was definitely worth the visit. The waterfall definitely was and it’s a good place to have a good picnic getaway from the city area especially during a weekday. Definitely should come on a weekday to avoid the crowd as it’s less crowded. See more..
  3. 4.0 Sungai Pandan Waterfall (98 reviews)
    - Refreshing!!
    Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
    Sungai Pandan Waterfall image
The place opens at 9am so go early to avoid the crowd and the heat. The water is clear and cool and the waterfall beating on your body provides a great massage. Be careful with small children as the water does suddenly get deep at various places. The new SOP is observed quite strictly here with good reason. Everyone has to register and have their temperature taken at the guard house before entering. Parking space is ample. There are also stalls selling finger food in case you get hungry after your swim. My family and I went on a weekday so we were lucky not to be bombarded with a huge crowd. Easily spent an hour here, just enjoying the cool water and then soaking up the sun on the many rocks nearby. Cleanliness is maintained too, hopefully all visitors will continue to keep this lovely spot clean. See more..

A well laid out path leads you from the entrance to the waterfall. There is an area right at the end where you can go and bathe. Great walk to do with children. Getting there and back in tbe car wasn't as pleasant o a narrow 2 way road. See more..
  5. 3.5 Robinson Falls (37 reviews)
    - Awesome Fall but difficult to find
    Waterfalls
    Robinson Falls image
We had to asked 3 groups of people before we can locate the starting point. Actually it is quite simple. Instead of going to Mardi as advised by a few online write up and looking for path 9 from there, a more straight forward way us to head towards the Cameron Highlands Hospital. Just 500m before reaching the hospital ( there is a sign indicated so), there is a road on the right where there is a huge billboard and a small Robinson Waterfall sign. Turn into this road about 100m , there is another billboard and a concrete bridge with colourful tyres . Follow the bridge in and all the way straight and the waterfall will be there in less than 1 km. Cool nice place at the waterfall! See more..
  6. 4.0 Thompson Falls (26 reviews)
    - Amazing scenery

I was amazed by the scenery and the nature. The water is clean and cold. The place is not crowded (i visited on weekends midday and it was nice). Many local food kiosk around. Banans are amazing, you gotta get a bunch. Take off your shoes and sleeve up you pants for a nice food immersion in the cold streaming water. Washrooms (tandas) are available around (between the local shops) so if you have extra clothes and can change you can enjoy a full body indulgence in the fast falling water. Parking is a bit hard as there are no places for it and u have to line up at the very sides of the narrow road. See more..

This is the best place in Kuantan for my trip. We wake up in the morning 6am. We take 4 wheel drive inside the wood (around 1.5hours) then continue with a bit of hiking (1hour). When we reach the top, we saw a fall. The water is very clean. We waited for 1 hour to see the rainbow. It is a unforgettable experience. See more..
  9. 4.0 Lubuk Teja Waterfall (6 reviews)
    - A challenging, special little hike...
    Waterfalls
    Lubuk Teja Waterfall image
If you fancy a rainforest experience, this is a good, challenging little hike. Takes about 40 minutes each way. Starts just by the turtle project place, and follows infrequent orange markers to direct you. You have to crawl at times and make your way by a few narrow rock spaces, pull yourself up a couple of slippery slopes using roots and vines, but it is all good stuff. There is also a thick black pipe that runs from the river, so you can use that as a guide too. Got to be careful, and be willing to turn back if it gets a bit much. I later heard that there is another, simpler and easier way to the falls, that is reached by passing the signposted way, walking further along the beachfront. Will have to ask locally about this. I did this way twice, morning and late afternoon, having enjoyed the spirit of it so much. See more..

    - Lovely - and easy to reach
    Spent < 1 hour Waterfalls
    Ali's Waterfall image
This is a quick, easy walk, along a very well trodden path, a couple of hundred metres from the main road down into Juara. It is marked, but you have to be looking for it - very old wooden sign. Lovely to walk in the river and swim in the pool. Fairly busy - a constant stream of people whilst I was there for an hour or so. I walked up from where was staying, in Juara Village - took about 45 minutes - it was a quiet, scenic, picturesque walk, just along the road. See more..
  12. 4.5 Berkelah Waterfall (3 reviews)
    - Need to experience if you love water
Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
    Berkelah Waterfall image
I went there with Rentas Adventure for @projectatwaterfall. This is my first time there. We stayed there for a night and enter the area before sunrise. You might get lost and split if you come in large group. The trail is okay not too advance but there is a chance of slipping due to wet surfaces to get to level 7 waterfall. The level 7 is super beautiful. It has very large waterfall where we do water activities. The deepest according to the guide is 13 metres. You need to have life jackets if you are not good swimmers. I'm a bad swimmer and I almost drawn haha See more..

  14. 4.0 Tanglir Falls (2 reviews)
    - Big Waterfall near Bukit Tinggi
    Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
    Tanglir Falls image
10km hike taking around 1-2 hours depending on your speed. At the end of the trail will be a Buddhist temple. Near that is the smaller waterfall. For the much bigger and multiple cascade waterfall you need to turn right and descend downwards the trail at the 1st cross road junction from end of trail while heading back. When lost follow the sound of the waterfall which will be loud and clear. See more..
