Housed in very unusual looking entrance, the Ripley's Odditorium offers a self-guided tour through 300 exhibits. There is a careful balance between the strange, the shocking, and the beautiful. In the Odditorium, there are works of art made from everyday objects, incredible collections, and strange hobbies. There are exhibits from the worlds of science and illusions, hands-on interactive displays, videos, wax figures, cartoons, photos, rare artifacts, and state of the art special effects, all set in an exotic themed surroundings. The Ripley collection includes everything from micro-miniature sculptures, invisible to the naked eye, to giant gorilla made out of tyres and Ferarri made out of kitchen floors. From prehistoric to futuristic, the Ripley collection has everything, including the original Ripley Cartoon Sketch – Diocles, The Chariot Racer – c. 1931 sketched by the legendary Robert Ripley himself. Good experience, fun, gives you a deeper idea about the history and contemporary age of Malaysia. A must visit, as Kuantan is kind of boring in general :D So this should be a good visit if you have an hour to spend. See more..

It is more like a crystal museum in a kampung house. RM2 to enter. Gotta take out shoes to walk around, which aggravated me cos the ground was not exactly spotless and dry! Nothing to buy. See more..
