    Mah Meri Art Gallery image
This is a really extensive and unique collection of mah meri carvings. The owner is obviously so passionate and knowledgeable about preserving this disappearing art. We loved learning about the history and symbolism of the masks and statues. A must visit and highlight of our time in Cameron Highlands! See more..
  2. 4.5 Gunung Irau (Mount Irau) (50 reviews)
    - Trans Jerging lives to its reputation... Hard but worth it
    Mountains
    Gunung Irau (Mount Irau) image
We did the trans jerging hike this time. Starting at G Siku trailhead heading to G Irau and then to Yellow pass and exit. About 20-25km. Took almost 15 hours longest hike in my life and in darkness. View and journey was great. Maybe to split this into 2 hikes in future. 1 water point right after G Siku and then its all work. Bring a lightweight jacket as chilly during hike and will be useful is rain comes. Bring another new t-shirt or jacket for end of journey if you going to be stationary as its really cold in the late evening. See more..

  5. 4.0 Sam Poh Temple (220 reviews)
    - A temple that matches with the ambiance
    Religious Sites
    Sam Poh Temple image
Nothing much to brag about it but the place is calm and soothing, just like most of the Buddhist temples in this part of the world. There are mainly 2 setups of statues and both are glittering and nice. Learned a bit about the Buddhism while visiting and they offered free book - one of which is about mental peace and worth reading. If you have time and not fussy about religious beliefs, can visit this place. See more..
  6. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 (161 reviews)
    - beautiful camping experience at the top of Brinchang
    Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 1 image
My partner and I drove up all the way to the peak and camp for a night. If you are thinking of driving, you got to be a little careful. The roads are not very well indicated and some of the turns are sharp and small. We still managed thou. There is a parking lot up there. so we parked our cars and then went to pitch our tent in the jungle. We woke up to sunrise and it was beautiful. However there is no water supply or whets ever, so get your necessities from the toawn before heading up. We cooked too. It was cold at night so bring more layers. See more..

    Gunung Brinchang image
First you have to drive to the Boh Plantation and enjoy their cakes and a nice cup of tea. Then you walk up to the Lookout Point which is 174 metres up. Nice walk with hand guard railings to assist you in the climb. It was a beautiful sunning Tuesday morning when I did the climb. The view from the top is surreal you're surrounded by greens just green scenery. You can see the tea plantation and the surrounding jungle and the mountains behind. Simply breathtaking and a must see place when you're up in Cameron Highlands See more..

Cameron Highlands Trail No. 3 image
One of the cleanest and serene places. We enjoyed a lot. We were staying at Camerin Hughland Resorts. A very Anglo vintage place, which is very well maintained and clean. We loved our stay. We did do the general visits like the tea gardens, sheep feeding, Flower Gardens etc. It was really very busy over the weekend though. But worth the visit. See more..
  9. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Trail No. 5 and 7 (52 reviews)
    - Trail 7 from Tanah Rata town centre.
    Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Trail No. 5 and 7 image
We were nervous having heard mixed reviews buts it's very simple! Definitely worth it. Simple to navigate from the town centre. Towards MARDI, then head to the 'English cottage' and along the rd, you'll come to a junction and head toward Camelia apartments. Along the right hand side of the appartments there's a narrow gap in the hedge with a trail up the hill. Follow it!! That's trail 7, from then on it's easy to follow all the way up! It took us 2hours up and 1.5 down. Lovely hike and a viewing area at the top! There are overgrown bits and a few trees to navigate around but nothing off putting! Hope these pictures help anyone wanting to go ☺ See more..

    EQ Strawberry Farm image
Conveniently located within walking distance from Copthorne hotel, EQ Strawberry farm has been around for many, many years. I highly recommend this place for first timers, families with young children or if you're just craving to hunt for fresh strawberries. Entrance is free but to enter the strawberry farm to pick the strawberries, you'd have to choose if you want pick 1/2 kg or 1 kg strawberries and be given a styrofoam tray. Prices (as of August 2020) are: 1/2 kg - RM 30 1 kg - RM 60 After picking your own strawberries, your tray will be weighed and then proceed to pay. If you chose 1 kg earlier and final weight is 1.3 kg for example,. you'll pay more for the 300g. Overall, a nice relaxing activity and should be included in your trip to Cameron Highlands. See more..
  11. 4.0 Tan's Camellia Garden (43 reviews)
    - Passionate plant-loving family, garden with character
    Gardens
    Tan's Camellia Garden image
For garden enthusiasts who love to chat about plants. Mr and Mrs Tan are a bit eccentric and love to show their collection of medicinal / culinary herbs and flowers. Lots of things you won't see in Malaysian lowlands. Messy and kinda charming in a very grown-in way. This is very different from the tacky touristy locations in Cameron Highlands. Next to the entrance of Jungle Trail 10. Unfortunate that a government housing project is causing havoc nearby. A rare and more personal experience here. Visit before it's too late. See more..

  13. 4.0 Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 2 (27 reviews)
    - Interesting and fun
    Spent 1-2 hours Hiking Trails
Cameron Highlands Jungle Trail No. 2 image
My friend and I made an impromptu decision to do Trail 2 and we didn't really know the difficulty level beforehand. We're both not really experienced hikers and simply felt adventurous. The beginning was a little scary and it can take a while to find the markers, but it wasn't too tough. Its pretty clearly marked, you just have to keep a lookout. The sights were breathtaking, especially the stream that runs all the way to the agro farms. The water is so clear, and it was just such a treat. It does get a little steep and tricky in between but with patience and a clear mind, you will be able to get to the next stage. Just take it one step at a time and drink plenty of water. Truly a test of resilience, but its worth it in the end. See more..
  14. 4.0 Thompson Falls (26 reviews)
    - Amazing scenery
    Waterfalls
    Thompson Falls image
I was amazed by the scenery and the nature. The water is clean and cold. The place is not crowded (i visited on weekends midday and it was nice). Many local food kiosk around. Banans are amazing, you gotta get a bunch. Take off your shoes and sleeve up you pants for a nice food immersion in the cold streaming water. Washrooms (tandas) are available around (between the local shops) so if you have extra clothes and can change you can enjoy a full body indulgence in the fast falling water. Parking is a bit hard as there are no places for it and u have to line up at the very sides of the narrow road. See more..

Strawberry picking activity at the farm is a must do, not only for kids but for adults also. Two people can share a basket and pick 500gm strawberry. The whole experience of finding the ripe strawberries and filling your basket is very nice and unique. Our kids just loved this place. See more..
  16. 3.5 Cactus Valley (133 reviews)
    - Only if you like cactus
    Gardens
    Cactus Valley image
We were here one late weekday afternoon, the shops outside were not opened (maybe aftermath of Covid lockdowns). Entrance fees was quite expensive (RM 8) and experience with the lady manning the counter was quite unpleasant. We took some photos of the variety of cactuses and there were flower beds too. However, we didn't purchase any cactuses while we were there. we found cheaper and nicer ones at one shop by the road side at Kea farm. See more..
  17. 3.5 Rose Valley (116 reviews)
    - A surprisingly large range of flowers on display
Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Gardens
    Rose Valley image
A nice surprise to find such a vast range of different flowers. Expecting the usual small garden we paid the entrance (RM5) to go into the garden area. Very nice and the range of flowers is fascinating. Be aware that there are many steps so not really suitable for those with mobility issues. See more..
  18. 3.5 Kok Lim Strawberry Farm (50 reviews)
    - Huge Strawberry farm
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Farms
    Kok Lim Strawberry Farm image
Kok Lim Strawberry Farm is a popular tourist attraction located along the main road shortly after leaving Brinchang town towards Kea Farm. One of the largest strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands, Kok Lim also houses a vegetable market, shopping gallery, vintage cafe and pastry corner within the complex. Besides fresh strawberries available for sale daily, visitors can also pick their own load by weight at the farm, nestled on hill slopes behind. Parking lots along the main road provide ample space for most vehicles even on weekends. Time Tunnel, a museum dedicated to colonial-era antiques and heritage, occupies a section of the building at Kok Lim Strawberry Farm. See more..

This market offers travelers a chance to experience an authentic roadside farmers market in the Cameron Highlands. The market is open from morning till evening—get there early in the morning for fresh produce like strawberries, bi-colored sweet corn, and plenty of greens. Or swing by near closing when these perishable items go for a bargain. There are also vendors selling cooked food and snacks like steamed sweet potatoes. You can explore the market on a guided tour of the Cameron Highlights, which usually includes other fascinating spots nearby like The Sheep Sanctuary, Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm, and Boh Tea Center. – Tripadvisor See more..
  20. 3.5 Robinson Falls (37 reviews)
    - Awesome Fall but difficult to find
    Waterfalls
    Robinson Falls image
We had to asked 3 groups of people before we can locate the starting point. Actually it is quite simple. Instead of going to Mardi as advised by a few online write up and looking for path 9 from there, a more straight forward way us to head towards the Cameron Highlands Hospital. Just 500m before reaching the hospital ( there is a sign indicated so), there is a road on the right where there is a huge billboard and a small Robinson Waterfall sign. Turn into this road about 100m , there is another billboard and a concrete bridge with colourful tyres . Follow the bridge in and all the way straight and the waterfall will be there in less than 1 km. Cool nice place at the waterfall! See more..

    - Can visit since there is no entry fee
    Spent 1-2 hours Farms
    Healthy Strawberry Farm image
We visited this farm on Thursday (27/8/20) evening around 6 pm. We were lucky because there was no crowd. Many plants in the farm but they were all small plants. Entry to pick strawberries is rm35 for 2 pax and a box of strawberries for free. Nothing very exciting except the strawberry juice. It was marvelous with no sugar added at rm5 only. Pancake with strawberry filling is nice if eaten hot. See more..
