  5. 5.0 Tab Kak Hang Nak Hill Nature Trail (390 reviews)
    - It's a Hike not a nature trail
    Hiking Trails
Tab Kak Hang Nak Hill Nature Trail image
Rent a scooter for 200baht to get to this place. Got lost along the way using google map. Can't find the entrance /start of the hike. Ask the locals but don't help much due to communication problem. Luckily, there's a shopkeeper who helps us when we're lost,. She told us getting there by Google will normally get you lost as that area the GPS is weak. She told us to head to AMARI VOGUE KRABI hotel. The starting point of the hike is just few metres ahead of the resort. Registered at the ranger booth, drop 100baht as tips in the tip box and we start the hike. Quite a tough hike up even though we are active triathletes. Managed to reach the famous peak in abt 3hrs, climbing at a relax pace and enjoying the aerial views. Getting down is faster at 1hr 45mins. Advisable to have at least 1 litres of water, some snacks(pls do not litter, throw the rubbish in the bins when you get down) and wear a proper footwear like sneakers, trail sandals or better still hiking boots for a good climb. 7. 4.5 PhraNang Cave Beach (6.339 reviews)
    - Best Beach in Railay
Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
    PhraNang Cave Beach image
The beach is empty in the morning until around 10 am. Use this time to your advantage and relax in a quiet, tranquil environment. At sunset the beach tends to be less crowded than Railay with equal (if not better) views. Be sure to look at the rock faces and how they change color as the sun sets. See more..
  8. 4.5 Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint (5.084 reviews)
    - Worth the hike up the stairs.
Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint image
We did this in the morning as it gets hot during the day and its more challenging to do it during the day. After getting to the top view point one you can keep on going up to view point 2 where there is nice places to take photos and enjoy a cold drink or beer at the bar up there. I recommend going in the morning or even for sunrise on sunset and try to avoid going during the day. There is stores to buy water before the stairs begin not much while on the stairs. Enjoy ! 9. 4.5 Poda Island (3.902 reviews)
    - Nice small island easily reachable by boat
    Islands
    Poda Island image
You can reach easily Poda island from Aonang beach by boat, return ticket is 300 bhat and national park fee is additional 200. You will just have to wait while at least 6 people come for the same ride bit in a season it is very quick, it is 15 minutes ride from Aonang. Better go there earlier in the morning beacause the last return is at 4pm. The same boat will wait for you for the way back. You will be taken at the front beach just for individual trips and probbably won't be busy. The beach at the other side is for islands excursions and is crowded with tours if you come after 12 pm. But you can walk there to buy drinks or ice cream, there is a park as well. You can ask your boat driver to take you at the secret beach for some fee you give him extra. It is beautiful little spot at the edge of Poda island good for snorkling, you will see a lot of fish there. See more..
  10. 4.5 Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) (3.858 reviews)
    - Wat thum sua
    Religious Sites
Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) image
The Tiger Cave Temple in southern Thailand serves as a religious site for the monks who live and worship there, and features a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley. This Buddhist complex is also popular with believers and travelers. Here, you can enjoy the views of the surroundings, and admire archaeological findings, which include stone tools, pottery remains, and the mold allegedly used to make Buddha’s footprints. Take your time to climb over 1,200 steps leading to the summit, and join a guided tour to visit the caves and learn more about the temple. – Tripadvisor See more..
  11. 4.5 Bamboo Island (3.599 reviews)
    - Don’t go first in the morning!!
    Islands
    Bamboo Island image
We took a boat trip to phi phi islands and on our way back we stopped on the bamboo island to relax. Like our tour guide said, most of the tours go to bamboo island in the morning and it’s packed of tourists. When we went in the afternoon, yes there were people but not so much it would have bothered in any way! The water is stunning clear and the beach is wide full of white clean sand. For smokers and alcoholic drinkers, this is a national park area, meaning please don’t litter. Alcohol is not allowed in the island (what I understood) and smoking on the beach is not allowed. However!! There are marked smoking spots and they are nicely located so the sun won’t be burning you. It’s worth an experience! See more..
  12. 4.5 Ko Phi Phi Le (2.429 reviews)
    - Not everything there is worth your time
    Islands • Caverns & Caves
    Ko Phi Phi Le image
It was a nice trip with some kind of scam too... We were THE FIRST who arrived at Maya Bay and had the most peaceful 1 hour there. It's prohibited to swim there, due to the replanting of the corals. Pi Leh Lagoon was another outstanding place there. But Viking Cave simply shouldn't be on the list of the attractions, nothing special there, you cannot even go inside, because it's private property. Instead of "Monkey Beach" our guide brought us to "Monkey Bay"..... If you are going to buy a tour to Phi Phi and don't understand which places you should visit and what is better to avoid or maybe need some recommendations on which boat to choose, at what time to go, and what to take with you, then our video might be helpful for you. Easily to find it by the title on YouTube: "You better learn THIS before going to Phi Phi Island Tour" Hope it helps. We also took some drone shots, just look at this beautiful nature. See more..
  13. 4.5 Long Beach (2.160 reviews)
    - Incredible!! Bright indigo ocean as far as the eye can see!
    Spent 1-2 hours Beaches
    Long Beach image
This is the nicest beach I've seen in Thailand! Not very crowded, and there are plenty restaurants and shops to get a cold drink at so you dont necessarily have to stay put if you dont want too. The water is perfectly temperate for those 35+°C days. There is a restaurant called LYMs on the beach at the long beach chalet resort, the food is great and prices there are very reasonable, I would recommend that to anybody who finds them selves in the long beach area. I'll be coming back here garunteed! See more..
  14. 4.5 Hong Islands (1.589 reviews)
    - Charter a longtail and visit Hong island
    Islands
    Hong Islands image
We chartered a longtail boat from outside our hotel at one of the tour info booths set up on the beach in Tup Kaek. They picked us up right outside so we didn't have to take a taxi or anything. We did 4 stops on the Hong Islands tour. We spent 2hours at the first beach that is a national park. Absolutely gorgeous. Book an early tour so you can beat the crowds. See more..
  15. 4.5 Koh Rok Island (1.538 reviews)
    - Absolutely Fantastic
    Islands
    Koh Rok Island image
This without doubt has to be in the top 10 places to snorkel in the world. I’ve swam in other tropical places around the world & on some special reefs, but this place takes some beating by a long way. Our hotel ( Layana) in Ko Lanta arranged everything for us in a group of 12. Maximum was 16 so no crowds. Yes there was other boats around at the stopping off points but I was able to swim in 3 different locations & nobody came within 100mts of me. The fish are soooooo abundant & the varieties are to many to mention. The water is so clear. To be honest you’d think you were swimming in an aquarium. If you get the chance? Just go!!!! See more..
  16. 4.5 Railay View Point (1.272 reviews)
    - Fun climb and amazing view!
    Lookouts
    Railay View Point image
Well, we were the «stupid ones» and wore flips flops. Not out of ignorance, but because we didn’t want to get our sneakers covered in red mud, which is impossible to wash off. That being said, I do not recommend wearing flip flops as the climb is steep and slippery, but we went during dry season and are reasonably fit and flexible. It was an easy enough climb up, but somewhat harder going down. The view from the viewpoint is absolutely amazing and well worth it. Expect 15 minutes up and about the same down. Also recommended going an hour or so before sunset as there were hardly anyone else there. See more..
  17. 4.5 Khlong Muang Beach (810 reviews)
    - Breathtaking sunset
    Beaches
    Khlong Muang Beach image
The beach is located in front of Sofitel Krabi, separated by a road. It’s less crowded here compared to Ao Nang Beach. Water sports are available by private operator. Beach chairs (w/out umbrella) and towels are provided to hotel guests. No lifeguard at both the beach and hotel pools. Breathtaking sunset, come before 6:30pm if you need a photo, sunset time as of end January 2020. See more..
  18. 4.5 Lanta Klong Nin Beach (700 reviews)
    - Long, clean, safe beach
    Beaches
    Lanta Klong Nin Beach image
A long golden sand beach backed by a few resorts and a whole range of bars and restaurants which all seem to offer good quality cheap food and happy hour(s) cocktails. Most offer deck chairs and sun umbrellas for free with little or no pressure to order food or drinks. Try Jai-Dee Home, my favourite. See more..

  20. 4.5 Khlong Dao Beach (563 reviews)
    - One of the best beaches in Thailand
    Beaches
    Khlong Dao Beach image
Perfect beach, sun, sea and sand. Oh and a few bars and restaurants and massage parlours and shops. The sun is hot, the sea is warm the sand is soft and the cocktails and sunsets are amazing! What's not to love about it! See more..
  21. 4.5 Lagoon (380 reviews)
    - My Favorite Beach Area in Thailand!
Spent 2-3 hours Bodies of Water
    Lagoon image
We have visited Panang Beach and this lagoon several times over the years! The Lagoon area and the adjacent sandy beaches are some of the most beautiful we have seen in the world! This is my favorite place in all of Thailand! This lagoon is not the one that you need to climb over the mountain to get there. It is the lagoon at the end of a walking trail that leads from the other side of Railay Beach to the ferry boats docking area. It was an easy walk from our Railay Beach resort too. See more..
  22. 4.5 Ko Rok Nok (375 reviews)

  23. 4.5 Khao Mai Kaew Cave (313 reviews)
    - Great adventure
    Caverns & Caves
    Khao Mai Kaew Cave image
We got quite a bit more than we expected. The whole trip requires some sure footedness. The walk to the cave is in the forest which is very pretty and they have made ladders in the difficult places. the cave is awesome but we were warned there are some difficult bits which turned out to be easily manageable as we are relatively fit and do walk at home alot. We were lucky in that our guide spoke very good English and was really informative about the area, the history the culture and the farming, as well as the caves itself. It certainly enhanced our experience. Most of the cave is spacious so I did not get claustrophobic as I have done in other caves previously. See more..
  24. 4.5 Ao Tha Lane (286 reviews)
    - Very nice excursion
    Saturday: 8:30 AM - 6:15 PM Beaches
    Ao Tha Lane image
Nice excursion but pay attention. When you book ask about the tide. If the tide is low you have a limited excursion as you cannot go till the end of the canyon, while with high tide you can have a round trip but even with low tide you will see an amazing canyon with limestone and also mangrovias, even the monkeys. See more..
  25. 4.5 Laem Tong Bay (285 reviews)
    - snow beach!
    Beaches
    Laem Tong Bay image
In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful beaches on the islands around Phuket. A unique beach with white sand. We had lunch here, and after that we had an hour to swim and relax by the beach. If you are lucky, you may also get this experience and stop on a tour of one of the islands. See more..
  26. 4.5 Pileh Bay (282 reviews)
    - Go there early morning
    Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
    Pileh Bay image
Definitely must-see. I recommend you to come early morning, at least by 8-9, because after this there are too many boats. It's a nice place for swimming and drone shots. And if you are planning to see Maya Bay as well it's better if you go there at 6-6:30 am, the beach will be empty. We also shot the video that showed where else you can go, and if you in general interested to see the main attractions in Phi Phi but still doubting or choosing where to go first, then type the title on YouTube: "You better learn THIS before going to Phi Phi Island Tour" We made a detailed guide with maps and locations for snorkeling, describing where are the main attractions, which boat is better to choose and which places don't worth your time. 27. 4.5 Nui Beach (255 reviews)
    - favorite beach
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
    Nui Beach image
Really quiet and beautiful beach. Takes a little effort to get there but it's really close to Paradise I'd say. One little bar at the beach itself which is playing some music and one bar on the steep path down to the beach. Overall laid back feeling and great water condition as well. Just be cautious when going down the hill to the beach. Will be 100% worth it. See more..
  28. 4.5 Diamond Cliff Beach (231 reviews)

What a hidden gem!! Took a motorbike out to discover this side of the island and came across this cool bar. Amazing views of the beach with laid back chilled music and great service. My new fave beach bar so far!! See more..
  29. 4.5 Long Beach (229 reviews)
    - Stunning

    Long Beach image
Beautiful beach! If you’re looking to getaway from the party scene/people especially and get some quiet time this beach is perfect. Lots of families and couples. We took a 100 baht per person by long tail boat from the Ton Sai pier. It was peaceful, with white sands, clear water and amazing views. See more..
  30. 4.5 Khao Ngon Nak (178 reviews)
    - Spectacular view
Spent More than 3 hours Lookouts
    Khao Ngon Nak image
This is definitely NOT a stroll in the park, it’s a challenging hike up a Rocky Mountain track in possibly tropical conditions depending on time of year. You will definitely need decent training shoes or better still hiking boots unlike some of the people I passed in flip flops!!! Take plenty of water (at least 2 Ltr),sun cream, insect repellent and possibly a sugar snack as you will definitely be sweating!!! All that said, after around 2 hours you should reach it’s peak you will definitely be rewarded with spectacular views. Unfortunately it’s the descent after that and in my opinion a tougher walk back down than up but a great adventure if like me you get bored of sitting around a pool or beach. Cost is 300 Bhat which seems to be normal for entering a National park. Please don’t attempt this if you are not fairly fit, you have been warned See more..
