  2. 5.0 Tab Kak Hang Nak Hill Nature Trail (390 reviews)
    - It's a Hike not a nature trail
    Hiking Trails
Tab Kak Hang Nak Hill Nature Trail image
Rent a scooter for 200baht to get to this place. Got lost along the way using google map. Can't find the entrance /start of the hike. Ask the locals but don't help much due to communication problem. Luckily, there's a shopkeeper who helps us when we're lost,. She told us getting there by Google will normally get you lost as that area the GPS is weak. She told us to head to AMARI VOGUE KRABI hotel. The starting point of the hike is just few metres ahead of the resort. Registered at the ranger booth, drop 100baht as tips in the tip box and we start the hike. Quite a tough hike up even though we are active triathletes. Managed to reach the famous peak in abt 3hrs, climbing at a relax pace and enjoying the aerial views. Getting down is faster at 1hr 45mins. Advisable to have at least 1 litres of water, some snacks(pls do not litter, throw the rubbish in the bins when you get down) and wear a proper footwear like sneakers, trail sandals or better still hiking boots for a good climb. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) image
The Tiger Cave Temple in southern Thailand serves as a religious site for the monks who live and worship there, and features a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley. This Buddhist complex is also popular with believers and travelers. Here, you can enjoy the views of the surroundings, and admire archaeological findings, which include stone tools, pottery remains, and the mold allegedly used to make Buddha’s footprints. Take your time to climb over 1,200 steps leading to the summit, and join a guided tour to visit the caves and learn more about the temple. – Tripadvisor See more..

    Hong Islands image
We chartered a longtail boat from outside our hotel at one of the tour info booths set up on the beach in Tup Kaek. They picked us up right outside so we didn't have to take a taxi or anything. We did 4 stops on the Hong Islands tour. We spent 2hours at the first beach that is a national park. Absolutely gorgeous. Book an early tour so you can beat the crowds. See more..
  5. 4.5 Ao Tha Lane (286 reviews)
    - Very nice excursion

    Ao Tha Lane image
Nice excursion but pay attention. When you book ask about the tide. If the tide is low you have a limited excursion as you cannot go till the end of the canyon, while with high tide you can have a round trip but even with low tide you will see an amazing canyon with limestone and also mangrovias, even the monkeys. Long Beach image
Beautiful beach! If you’re looking to getaway from the party scene/people especially and get some quiet time this beach is perfect. Lots of families and couples. We took a 100 baht per person by long tail boat from the Ton Sai pier. It was peaceful, with white sands, clear water and amazing views. See more..
  7. 4.5 Khao Ngon Nak (178 reviews)
    - Spectacular view
Spent More than 3 hours Lookouts
    Khao Ngon Nak image
This is definitely NOT a stroll in the park, it’s a challenging hike up a Rocky Mountain track in possibly tropical conditions depending on time of year. You will definitely need decent training shoes or better still hiking boots unlike some of the people I passed in flip flops!!! Take plenty of water (at least 2 Ltr),sun cream, insect repellent and possibly a sugar snack as you will definitely be sweating!!! All that said, after around 2 hours you should reach it’s peak you will definitely be rewarded with spectacular views. Unfortunately it’s the descent after that and in my opinion a tougher walk back down than up but a great adventure if like me you get bored of sitting around a pool or beach. Cost is 300 Bhat which seems to be normal for entering a National park. Please don’t attempt this if you are not fairly fit, you have been warned See more..

The most interesting .nature in Krabi Huge place clean and very beautiful, you can spend a lot of hours to see the most interesting and amazing nature. The people who work there are very nice and put their heart into the park and the tourists(they speak very good english) also there is a small restaurant with very tasty and cheap thai food. We spend there half of our day and its was amazing! See more..

  10. 4.0 Krabi Weekend Night Market (1.263 reviews)
    - A good local market
    Flea & Street Markets
    Krabi Weekend Night Market image
There are actually several night markets all within walking distance in Krabi. The area around walking street is the one most tourists go to. It has a selection of stalls selling motr local stuff than the Ao Nang markets. You won’t get knock off designer gear here but instead a range of more locally produced goods. There is also food with seating arranged round a stage for various performers. There is a fresh fruit and food market close by, a food market with small pop up restaurants by the river and another market between that and the walking street market. I would recommend visiting the one by the river for a meal. You choose your pop up restaurant, they have some tables and chairs and if you want something like a fruit smoothie from another vendor they bring it to you. It works well and the food is delicious. We finished off with the most amazing crispy rotti with condensed milk. See more..
  11. 4.0 Monkey Trail (568 reviews)
    - Lots of monkeys!!
    Spent 1-2 hours National Parks
    Monkey Trail image
We came one morning about 10am and were lucky to come across a pack of 50 monkey passing through the trail. It was amazing! They were lovely to watch and didn’t do anything unless u had food in your hand. The monkeys always managed to win the fight and run away with their reward. The trail itself was very old and rickety but was still accessible. We did go back a few times to try and see them again with no luck. See more..

  15. 3.5 Noppharathara Beach (1.290 reviews)
    - A 7 minute walk from our hotel
    Beaches
    Noppharathara Beach image
We walked from our hotel to Nopp Beach on Saturday morning. A few locals had already arrived whilst others had left their piles of food in various places, perhaps to mark their place. We walked across a red bridge to get here from Apasari Hotel, so if you see it you will know that you're on the right track. There's shops & restaurants opposite, so you can stop, shop, & snack. Also there's a public toilet just across the road, you will need 5 baht to use it. We hadn't got one & were trying to use a 10 baht coin but it doesn't work. Prince charming popped up from nowhere & scanned us through with his card. Thanks to that lovely man! It was early & quiet when we went, I should imagine it would be a bit more lively if there were more locals around. Whatever, it's always worth a visit as you never know what you may find, & what else are holidays for if not for exploring? See more..
