It was a nice trip with some kind of scam too... We were THE FIRST who arrived at Maya Bay and had the most peaceful 1 hour there. It's prohibited to swim there, due to the replanting of the corals. Pi Leh Lagoon was another outstanding place there. But Viking Cave simply shouldn't be on the list of the attractions, nothing special there, you cannot even go inside, because it's private property. Instead of "Monkey Beach" our guide brought us to "Monkey Bay"..... If you are going to buy a tour to Phi Phi and don't understand which places you should visit and what is better to avoid or maybe need some recommendations on which boat to choose, at what time to go, and what to take with you, then our video might be helpful for you. Easily to find it by the title on YouTube: "You better learn THIS before going to Phi Phi Island Tour" Hope it helps. We also took some drone shots, just look at this beautiful nature. See more..

It is reachable from Ao Nang by long tail boat, and it is worth spending all day long there. Pra Nang Cave is wonderful and unusual cave because it is not under the ground level, but it has very unusual stone relief. There is beautiful Pra Nang beach with nice white sand and smaragd green sea water. Beautiful and amazing! See more..

We got quite a bit more than we expected. The whole trip requires some sure footedness. The walk to the cave is in the forest which is very pretty and they have made ladders in the difficult places. the cave is awesome but we were warned there are some difficult bits which turned out to be easily manageable as we are relatively fit and do walk at home alot. We were lucky in that our guide spoke very good English and was really informative about the area, the history the culture and the farming, as well as the caves itself. It certainly enhanced our experience. Most of the cave is spacious so I did not get claustrophobic as I have done in other caves previously. See more..

you can do this trip on your own, no need to book a tour. just show up at the bor thor pier, rent a kayak and off you go to visit up to 4 caves (depending on the level of the tide...arrive in the morning, because in the afternoon the tide will be too low to access all the caves!!) the caves are stunningly beautiful, there is a cave with prehistoric paintings, then there is a lagoon cave and others. highly recommended!! we made this trip 3 times in between 4 years, so much we like it here :-) last time we went we rented a kayak and a guide came with us, free of charge, because we rented the kayak from his family business.
