    Best experience of our lives
We spent about 3 hours with the elephants, feeding them, walking with them, playing in mud baths and washing them. The elephants seemed really content, happy and relaxed. The keepers were very knowledgeable and were very kind. They clearly loved the animals. The day was not rushed or pressured in any way - it was calm and relaxed. The sanctuary provided snacks and drinks for us and there were toilets and showers which we were free to use, lockers were provided for valuables. This was a really incredible experience for us to share as a family (children aged 9+) and we cannot recommend it highly enough,

    Brilliant experience!
A surreal experience seeing 3 elephants in an environment they seemed totally content with. 1 way of describing it would be a retirement home for elephants that had been used wrongly in the tourist industry. Feeding them was especially enjoyable, they love the sugar canes! Also with regards to the bathing situation, it’s very hot so was a good way for them to be cooled down! Would strongly recommend to go and support a private run retirement home for the most incredible animal I’ve witnessed.
