Incredible!! Bright indigo ocean as far as the eye can see!

This is the nicest beach I've seen in Thailand! Not very crowded, and there are plenty restaurants and shops to get a cold drink at so you dont necessarily have to stay put if you dont want too. The water is perfectly temperate for those 35+°C days. There is a restaurant called LYMs on the beach at the long beach chalet resort, the food is great and prices there are very reasonable, I would recommend that to anybody who finds them selves in the long beach area. I'll be coming back here garunteed!

    Just wonderful!
    Our hotel was on this beach so we spent loads of time there. It is fairly basic in terms of facilities but more than makes up for that with its beauty. Soft white sand and a gentle sea, make it very picturesque, especially at sunset. At this time, you can get a nice cold beer at one of the many bars along the front and sit in silence as nature take its course beautifully. We used it as exercise as well. Make sure you are covered in suncream and it will take you about half an hour to walk from one end to the other whilst taking in magnificent views.

    Cannabis Bar & The Perfect Beach
    My friend and I visited long beach for dinner, it was quiet...there were lights everywhere and the sound of water was so peaceful. We went off season, it was quiet but we loved it...places were open and the locals were just enjoying themselves. The food was good, there is a line of restaurants that has a beach side view. Make sure nothing but your hair flies here, the breeze is relaxing though. I am not gonna lie, it is creepy getting here. Don't turn back, finish at a reasonable time. It is deemed safe and make sure you finish up and head over to cannabis bar after! That place is surrounded my other tourists and backpackers, they have wifi, amazing prices for drinks. Not to mention, amazing staff too :) The guys here work as brothers, they have a cute treehouse at the top and wellll the name suits the place ;) You can party late here and take a cab safely back. Ladies... do not try to walk far without a man, be safe and get a cab. Overall, Koh Lanta feels like another world but it is beautiful in that corner of the world. Ou if you can, find the guy that makes the wraps and smoothies outside the variety store. He has benches to sit there and omg the wraps are delicious and cheap!
