We are the first and best Cooking School on the Island, and have been teaching students for 21 incredible years! • Different menu everyday, designed as a Thai meal should be • Suited for vegans / vegetarians / pescatarians • We start with a fun Cocktail Class to get into the mood, then follow with an in depth tasting theory / curry paste intro. Continue with 3-4 dishes; Learning, chopping, laughing, meeting new friends, cooking and eating, with breaks in or out of our swimming pool just two steps away from the kitchen. You will roll out around 5 pm full of info, good memories and a very satisfied stomach! • Includes: free two way transport - recipes - apron to take home. • By joining us you will support Lanta Animal Welfare a non profit charity, as all profits go directly there, which gives vital help to stray, abused, abandoned dogs and cats, so be prepared for some furry cuddles too!

A wonderful experience and worth every penny
I have been to many cooking classes on my travels through Asia (I love food) .. and Time for Lime was by far the best I have experienced, by a long shot! This is a whole day affair so I would definitely recommend lining your stomach with a good breakfast, as they start with cocktails.. the chilli margarita was a win for me! The cooking class itself was so informative, I really learnt a lot of practical information about preparing Thai food. Noi, our Maestro-Chef, was really engaging and funny, we all had a great time prepping our dishes, and then my husband and I took turns cooking and garnishing the plates (who had the prettiest looking plate became quite competitive!) There's plenty of breaks to grab a beer and enjoy the swimming pool, as well as hang out with some of the sweet rescue dogs and cats. I personally thought that the price of the ticket was such good value for money, considering the quality of the seafood and other ingredients and the amount of time and effort that goes into making this class so professional and streamline. Before you've even had a chance to turn around your station has been cleaned for you and reset to start making the next course! Hats off to all of the staff and to Junie who has created such a wonderful experience for visitors to Koh Lanta. I enjoyed my time so much that I have booked another class for a different day, so that I can learn to make a whole new set of dishes!

Fantastic, fun experience - we loved it!
We spent the day as part of our 5 day trip on Koh Lanta and absolutely loved the cooking class! It was great fun, enjoyable and so interesting for us, as we love to cook and learn. Noi (the teacher/head chef) was fantastic and really made it! He was so nice, funny and knew his trade exceptionally well. He was excellent. As were the ladies working in the kitchen who prepared everything and kept the place spotless and efficient. We were part of a group of 8, which was the perfect size. It consisted of an ideal programme; tasting and learning to make Cocktails with Joe (who was also brilliant!) then preparing and cooking 4 dishes, all of which were delicious. This really is worth doing as the proceeds go to the Lanta Animal Welfare charity, run by Junie, who is clearly passionate about what she does and really makes a difference. We ordered beers, extra cocktails and took home a 'killer knife'. By far, one of the best days we had, I booked from home beforehand and I would highly recommend it.
