    Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Beaches
    Nusa Dua Beach image
During my solo travels to Bali, I took a day trip to Nusa Dua Beach. This beach is very calm and not full of crazy tourists/party goers. The water is crystal clear and there are many restaurants along the waterfront where you can relax with a Bingtag and watch the soothing ocean waves. During low tied, you can walk really far into the ocean without ever getting your knees wet. Be careful thought, there are lobster caves that emerge as the tied pushes back. You can actually see the fisherman go out and catch the fresh lobster of the day. Before the low tied, I took a dip in the sea and got pricked by a tiny baby lobster. I highly recommend taking the full scenic walk along the waterfront and visiting the peninsula island connected to Nusa Dua Beach. Truly a relaxing and un commercialized beach in the east side of Bali island. See more..

Then we back to the boat to continue the trip to the first snorkeling spot around 5 minutes from port. There are many kind of fish and corals. Then we continue to the second spot, the famous trench. It has different fish and coral compare to the first spot. There was under sea caves here that we can enter and swim in, and get out at the other end of the cave. But you must have long breath. The caves length around 9 m and 16 m. Then we continue the trip and saw a bat cave on the cliff. Before back we saw the Ganesha Temple with the big white elephant sculpture. Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
    Sekumpul Waterfall image
Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure. See more..

    - Clean white sand and clear water
    Saturday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Beaches
Geger Beach Nusa Dua Bali image
We paid $10 in a taxi to visit this beach from our hotel. It was worth it! Clear warm water, clean white sand, lounging chairs with umbrellas and a cheap cafe. What a great last day for our holiday in Bali. Do be careful if getting a taxi though, we just told the driver Geger Beach and he took us to this cliff which overlooked another very small secluded beach. At the time it was high tide and there was no sand with super rough waves. This is what the locals call Geger Beach but it is also known as Pura Geger, maybe after the temple which is somewhere there. Luckily our taxi driver was very apologetic and after I looked on Google maps he took us to the other beach. He wanted to bear the cost of entering the beach (Yes there is a charge of 10k per person). We booked him for the return and gave him tip to cover it. The actual Geger Beach was gorgeous and we had a lovely time in the water. The spring rolls and margarita pizza from the little cafe were yummy. See more..

    Yellow Bridge image
Such a lovely place etched in our memory. The famous Yellow Bridge which links Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan is a sight where you would see pedestrians as well as people with scooters so be careful when you stop to click pix. There was a small eatery nearby and we thought of quenching our thirst. To our surprise we saw Pepsi Blue and immediately ordered one. Haven’t ever seen it in India or any other place I have travelled to. It was really nice. Also tried Fried Chicken which could easily give competition to KFC owing to the crunchiness and flavours. This was a part of my Nusa Lembongan trip I had booked with Sunrise Fast Cruise Bali. See more..

The coffee processing was amazing and we got to get in there and play around with roasting and grinding in the giant mortar and pestle. The hosts were great and they had a flight of coffee and tea that was free. The only one that was 50,000 rupias was the kopi luwak. Of course we tried it. It was very rich and a little grainy. Went to our favourite beach today and Warung Jepun shut so stopped at Warung Seabreeze. The staff very hospitable, the drinks cold and the food very tasty. Not many customers around so if you can please support. Had my usual massage by Komeng one of the many massage ladies there and she is great value and knows her work. Sea Breeze is a must. Especially if Jepun is shut. See more..
