  2. 2.0 Wahana Gili Ocean (834 reviews)
    - Might pay a bit more & get decent boat
    Ferries
    Wahana Gili Ocean image
Was very anxious after Reading reviews. The trip was actually fine. Boat was pretty much on time. It did stop on gilie Air and Lombok on the way back which made the trip longer. Seen a lot of people falling for the transfer scam In padang bai.. just stick to your ticket & head straight to wahania office for transfer. We got dropped off In Senur In our hotel. I have seen that other companies (gilie gilie) had better organisation on departure from Gilie & Assistant with the bags much more. To summarize, I would do a better research & choose better boat if traveling again. The see can get rough & there was a fee accidents (Google it) with speedboats, So its better to pay a bit more & have little less stres on your holiday See more..

  6. 3.5 Gili Cat Fast Boat (220 reviews)
    - Good Service
    Ferries
    Gili Cat Fast Boat image
We decided to pay a little more money and go with Gili Cat fast boat after reading reviews of other fast boats. Staff on board the boat (captain and two assistants) were friendly and fresh bottled water was handed out to all passengers on board. Gili Cat arranged transfers which was included in our ticket price from our hotel in Legian and then on the way back from Gili Air to Ubud. We were picked up and dropped off on time. If you are going to Gili Air, the boat ride is approx 2 hours from Padang Bai Harbour. We made the mistake of sitting at the back of the boat with all the boat fuel fumes and felt quite dizzy by the time we arrived at Gili Air. My advice is to sit at the front or the middle to help avoid the fumes. See more..

  9. 3.0 Angel Billabong Fast Cruise (56 reviews)
    - Cheap boat with cleanliness in line
    Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Ferries
    Angel Billabong Fast Cruise image
We did quite some research to finalise the boat. We booked this through bookaway.com and was one of cheapest options. It is decent and takes around 45min one side instead of 30min claimed. Also it is usually late by 15 min so end to end is 1 hr. On our return to Sanur from Nusa Penida, they just dumped our luggage on the stones. Once we were a little strict and asked them to at least take it to the top from where it can be dragged, they eventually did it. See more..

  11. 1.5 Putri Island Fast Boat (24 reviews)
    - Avoid!!
    Spent 1-2 hours Ferries
    Putri Island Fast Boat image
Boat arrived atleast one hour late, but that seems to be Rule in Indonesia.. Boat was full, like 200 seats and A/C is turned Off or broken. It is Super Hot inside! I dont think they even sell water onboard? Crew wasn't communicating with passengers at all. When we arrived to PadangBay, boat stopped nearby and floated at the sea. No one knew why. One guy tried to ask Crew- whats happening or when we get out? but he didnt get answer. People start to feel panic when trapped inside Sauna! At the end we arrived to pier 2-2.5Hours late. Do yourself a favor and Avoid this company. See more..

    Fastboat Bali Gili image
We were walking down Kuta and booked a fast boat service thru the local stores. They offered us pick up from our hotel in the morning in a mini bus along with a few others . Once we reached , we were tagged and asked to wait for our boarding to be announced . The boat accommodates appx 80 - 100 and they take about 1hr 30 min to go to gilli travangan . Make sure to carry some snacks and open your shoes while deboarding See more..
  15. 3.5 Gangga Express (3 reviews)
    - Good
    Ferries
    Gangga Express image
We had a great experience going with Gangga Express to Nusa Penida. Does not take long and is not expensive, you do need to pay in cash. You feel like a local, as many locals use this transport service (at least when we were boarding). One tip for going to Nusa Penida: arrange something in advance, as the locals at the port where you arrive swindle and scam the hell out of you!! As there is no other options there to get out of the port, you need to arrange something with them and it is just not worth it. Also, they ask you to pay some kind of tourist tax when you arrive (not Gangga but the locals again), I do not know if this is a scam too, but it sure feels like one, as they even walked with us to the ATM as we did not have any cash left.
