3.5Kuta Square(2.400 reviews) - The Crowds were missing Neighborhoods
Very few tourists evident and it's probably fair to say that all businesses seemed to be struggling. The absence of the cacophony of sound from traffic lent an eerie feeling at times. Restaurants, shops and stallholders were struggling. There have been a few changes in the square since our last visit, Sendok restaurant & bar has relocated here, renovations under way in a couple of former vacant premises, a sign of optimism for the future, perhaps. The temple was busiest, daily ceremonies and offering to the Gods for the protection of Bali.See more..
4.5Penglipuran(463 reviews) - One of the most beautiful and cleanest village in the world Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Neighborhoods • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings
My wife and I visited Panglipuran village last April 2021, attracted by some good / nice reviews we read. This is actually a village that is really clean and beautiful, we can visit and meet the people who are living there at their own home. Some of them also sells traditional clothing and craftsmanship as well as foods & drinks. There is also a small temple at the back of the village. This place is worth a visit when you’re in Bali.See more..
4.0Garlic Lane(270 reviews) - Great place for EVERYTHING ! Neighborhoods
As far as shopping goes there isn't much you wouldn't find on Garlic Lane! From Bali Kmart to Hollywood Optical to several smaller markets stalls the shopping is amazing! Bali Kmart is fixed price if you don't like haggling along with Ketuts fixed price shop which is the last stall on the right of the laneway when entering Bali Kmart. There are many really good restaurants as well. The Lokal, Garlic Lane, Blue Moon, Roesemary's and Legends Bar just to name a few. I really enjoyed sitting at the Lokal just people watching. Great atmosphere and I found we didn't get hassled too much to buy things.See more..
i went to Jalan Sulawesi after reading reviews on here. And I wasn't disappointed. We had limited time as the driver on our day trip did a detour for me to come here. I made a beeline straight for shop 17 or 19 which were the two recommended. The staff were very helpful and it was so cheap. They had a fantastic range of batiks and jelly rolls ( which I didn't see until later as I got so carried away picking out all the fabulous prints) . I bought almost 4kg of fabric and could have bought so much more! Next time I will plan a longer trip and an empty suitcase to get more. Say no to the helpers who hassle you on the way. I just said tidak terima Kasi politely and kept walking (no thank you)See more..

4.0Candi Dasa(21 reviews) - Becoming a favourite Neighborhoods
My second visit this year and becoming a favourite for us. Candidasa is like a smaller version of Sanur - there is plenty of great beach side accommodation of all standards. There is plenty of good restaurants within the area , many of which will pick you up for dinner and drop off. Candidasa is a relaxing spot to do nothing too plus opportunities for water activities from snorkeling to fishing as well. Only about an hour from Sanur , about half an hour or so from Amed and plenty of attractions nearby to organise a good day tour.See more..

4.5Dharma Semadi(2 reviews) - Good to see quality craftmanship Spent 1-2 hours Neighborhoods
My driver went in to collect a ring being repaired. I took the opportunity to observe the skill of the workers, such patience!! It is always hard to leave without buying something, but honestly even if the items are not cheap, they earn a pittence for the hours it takes to create one piece.See more..
