I did a solo sunrise summit hike with Wayan, and the whole experience was amazing good. Wayan is funny, caring. it started raining at 2am, and lasted for a couple hours, Wayan managed to put up a tent to keep us from the rain, and made hot coffee and teas for me to cheer me up. He literally got everything you need in his bag. Another great thing about Wayan is that he's extremely good with pacing, making sure I don't get too tired as well as we summited just the right time before the sunrise to avoid waiting in the cold for long (it is freezing up there). This cycling tour was an excellent; one of the best activities of our trip to Bali. Wayan is a genuine, friendly tour guide who will take you on a scenic adventure off the beaten track through Canggu and Seseh rice fields. The tour felt special and not overcrowded by other tourists. Wayan has plenty of local knowledge, a regard for roadside safety, and will tell a few jokes along the way. Watch out for the narrow tracks and muddy canals - it’s nothing to be concerned about if you end up in the mud! Burn some calories and have some fun. Great trip, Adi was a great driver and offered a lot of information. He was very friendly and spoke very good English. The tour was very enjoyable and we had a nice breakfast on the summit and had some great photo opportunities. Those who have been to Mount Rinjani must know this place. Because before climbing the mountain, we have to register and take care of the witness here. The staff are friendly like most of the locals in Lombok. Here provided a gazebo to rest before or after climbing. Around the office of many hotels, homestays or food shops, just step. The scenery around it.... so cool. Surrounded by green savanna hills. Moreover, the traffic in this city is not too busy, it tends to be quiet instead. We had our Jeep tour today and Yongki picked us up from our hotel on time. He was helpful in giving us guiding instructions on what to expect and the timings for the coming hours. It was good to hear all the details again as we were still half asleep due to the early rise for the tours. Once we reached the assembly point for the pickup vehicles we had a another member of his team who drove the Jeep up the mountain and it was such a thrilling experience. The air was so cool and chilly and hands literally felt almost frozen. We ran into Darta (Wayan) when we visited Pura Pasar Agung Sebudi to check out Mt Agung. Darta was terrific - very informative and friendly - and he gave us an excellent insight into the volcano and it’s effect on the local community. My partner asked many questions on various subjects and Darta was more than willing to give us a thorough run-down on everything he asked.
