Intention
Built in the 10th-century, Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple, and is considered sacred by the community. Worshippers take part in ancient cleansing rituals here and visitors are welcomed to join. Nestled in the lush Balinese countryside amid rice terraces and coffee plantations, the Vishnu-dedicated Hindu complex gets packed with devotees on full moon nights, when it takes on an even more special significance to them. You might get to watch a ceremonial dance performance too. For fewer crowds, visit early in the morning. After entering, you can rent a sarong for a small donation to wear during the ritual. – Tripadvisor

Intention
It's one of those places that you'll feel a little different - grounded and connected. This place is crowded with locals trying to get their blessings and foreigns who want to try the experience. I thought since it's crowded it will be pretty much just one of those things that you do just to get it done with, surprisingly it didn't feel that way. Through Kadek's information and guidance (they do it for free but of course just give tip - he takes nice candid photos/videos too), I have really felt a connection and put forth my intention into the universe. The water was a bit cold since it rained that afternoon and we got there pretty late (almost closing time). Note: the entrance fee is 50kIDR which includes the sarung to enter the temple. If you want to experience the holy spring/water fountain then you'll pay extra 30k IDR for locker and another set of sarung that you can wear while you dip and get blessed.

Temple for Purification
This is a crowded temple where people come for Purification under Holy Water coming from a spring inside the temple. Try and visit the place early in morning as it can get very crowded during the day. Certain parts of the temple aren't open for visitors and only for locals performing ceremonies.
