   This is a review of my trip that I made in Nov 2022. I did 10 dives with Dive Concepts Tulamben, and can fully recommend them. Their dive operations were top-notched, and the dive center and rental gear were in great condition. Arrangements for the diving was easy to be done, and well managed. I was assigned Komang to be my dive guide. He is an experienced dive guide, and knows where and how to find the local unique creatures and critters. There were a couple of dives where before I could finish shooting the video of a creature, he was already signaling me for another creature.     My partner and I just got our open water certification thanks to the amazing Alexis! He was a wonderful teacher every step of the way. His patience was very helpful with all of the skills needed to pass the course. Especially when taking off the mask and putting it on. He would always tell me to take my time and encourage me to relax. I felt so safe with him during each dive, especially when we went through the washing machine current. He held my partner and I the whole time and I could surrender into the current without panic. He always answered our questions and if we didn’t know something or forgot he would always happily explain it again. I would highly recommend him as a teacher and guide under the water any day!     What a great experience! This was my first time diving and Geko were awesome in all aspects of making it as good as possible. I did the open water course with my instructor, Made. He was super helpful and a great teacher and helped me progress through each stage with confidence. The dive sites we visited were incredible and an amazing introuduction to the underwater world. Geko were great in accomodating my request to dive at the Liberty shipwreck site further up the coast which I highly recommend and worth the trip. The rest of the staff are also super helpful, Eka was great with the communications in organising my trip and the rest of the shop staff were very helpful and kind.     Parto is not just an excellent driver but he is also very considerate and thoughtful. Me, my wife and our 1.5 year old baby had the pleasure of his company for 10 days in August 2022. We had booked him for entirety of our tour, from airport pick up to Nusa Dua to Candidasa to Ubud and back to airport. He helped me prepare an itinerary that's not too hectic given that we had a baby. He arranged a baby car seat and ensured it was clean all the time. At one occasion, when our baby slept in the car, he put his phone on silent, by himself, so that the baby does not get disturbed! We'd definitely recommend him. They gave out new bikes Kawasaki Klx 230 with excellent tires and settings. After visiting the Batur volcano, we stopped at a cafe with a buffet Batur Sari Restaurant We choose what we want to eat.     I was looking for a nice quiet place in Ubud to spend some time and I was very lucky to have found this place! Beautiful area, and the museum itself, located in several different houses, is an amazing look into Indonesian culture, although there is a couple of other international cultures featured as well. But I was absolutely fascinated by the Balinese displays. Guides are present to share about the stories and history. And it was certainly quiet. Only a small handful of others wandering the area when I got there, and by the end I was the only one. Super tranquil and surrounded by beautiful well kept greenery to boot. Also free entrance, which was very generous. Highly recommend for a touch of Indonesian culture and nice little trip away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. See more..

    I accompanied my husband taking his Advance Open Water and we both had the best time ever. He was very patient and calm, detailed without being patronizing and very accommodating. I actually learned a lot from him and I got my AOW certification already! Not sure why anyone could fault the way he teach, but I guess to each his own. For me I would definitely recommend him to anyone lucky enough to be taking their course in Tulamben; as a matter of fact I am taking a couple of my friends this coming month to take their Open Water certification with him.
