Cooking class
A visit to Ubud wouldn’t be complete without a Balinese cooking class. Hereby you can stop your search and enjoy the range of flavors that you will experience in a familial atmosphere. Beside the cooking you will explore the different ingredients, learn about the Hindu culture and making an traditional sacrifice to honor the gods. An absolute highlight on our trip! I would recommend this workshop to everyone who loves a personal guidance given by Newman, who is a warm a lovely guy!

Amazing!!
My friend and I attending this family run cooking class in the morning and we had an amazing time. We were shown round the local markets and provided with information about ingredients and items that we would be cooking with and that are common in Balinese cooking. We were then taken to see some rice paddies and explained about how the rice is made which was really interesting. The cooking class took place in the family home and we felt welcome straight away. We made 8 dishes, each step was explained including the different ingredients that were used. We then ate the food afterwards which was amazing, all the flavours were incredible. The family were lovely, very welcoming and attentive. We would definitely recommend this cooking class, it was amazing from start to finish and we have learnt so much! Thank you!
