Enjoy Murni's famous collection of Balinese and Asian works of art. She designed the spa around a new concept, creating a relaxing, healthy, healing experience but also an artistic experience. Tamarind Spa welcomes with flowers, fountains, tranquility, soothing aromas and calming music, all served with a generous portion of Balinese hospitality. De-stress, tone up, heal aches and pains or simply, just pamper yourself. 5 minutes walk from the center of Ubud. Rejuvenating and refreshing experience
We found Tamarind Spa at Murni’s House while in Ubud, someone on Facebook has recommended it and all reviews were superb so we booked it . Booking process was via emails and was a bit lengthy . Allow some time and Plan in advance. We had to pay full price upfront. You can also pre order food in their restaurant as well at the same time. It was a bit tricky to find the place , as it’s hidden away. I would recommend to use taxi to get there . However, If you are walking, just be aware it’s up the ramp , there are no direction signs anywhere. The place itself is gorgeous, feels so quiet, clean and relaxing there , even though it’s just a bit off Ubud’s Main Street . We had 4 hand massage and facial which was incredible experience . We left feeling 10 years younger ! Raw vegetarian food served at the restaurant was delicious. We used taxi on our way back.

Spa i an oasis of peace and tranquility
Samarind spa is located in an oasis of peace and tranquility in the centre of Ubud, run by wonderful Murni and her fantastic staff. I stayed in a studio on the property, which is something I strongly recommend others to do as well. I had a balinese full body massage, and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Wayan, my masseuse, had several years of training from a renowned massage school in Turkey. No need to hesitate, visit Murni’s Houses and Tamarind spa.
