    Ground Zero Monument
A sombre place. This simple but effective monument commemorates the Bali bombing tragedy on October 12 2002 that resulted in the deaths of 202 people, mainly tourists. As you can gather when you are there. The bombing took place right in the heart of then Kuta nightlife to cause maximum damage.

    Respectful tribute
We visited a few years ago with our children who did not know about the Bali bombings and again on this trip with my parents who have not visited Bali before. The monument is beautiful but subtle. I’m glad we were able to pay our respects.
