Beautiful! But recommended staying nearby due to long drive times

The USS Liberty Wreck is the most famous dive site in Bali. It is also one of the best sunken ship wrecks in the world! If you come to Bali, you absolutely have to dive there The liberty ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo then was beached near Tulamben. In 1963, the eruption of Mount Agung caused the vessel to slip off the beach, and it now lies on a sand slope in 9 to 30 m of water.The wreck is about 130 m long with the shallowest part at about 5 m deep and the deepest on the other side of the wreck at about 30 m deep.

    A must dive spot you should not miss while in Bali
    I did 3 dives just at this Shipwreck incl early morning, night dives and day time dives. I think the best is the early morning dive, while it is so quiet and not many divers around. I felt like experience both night dive and day time dive at one time when the sun rises and you got to see the first lights through the water. It was unforgettable moment. The wreck might be worn out a bit but it was still very impressive, with very diversed marine life around the wreck. I urge you to experience it by yourself.

    Great dive site, easy to reach from the shore, lots of fish. Great for a night dive!
    Dove the wreck twice, freediving during the day and a tank dive at night. Night dive was really nice with flashlight fish (bioluminescence) and a huge Napoleon fish. Let's Dive Tulamben is the dive shop I'd recommend.
