Drove here from Shanghai, which might be a better option than what others went through. That said, we were on a road trip heading further west. Entrance payment has been abolished. I wouldn't call this place overly commercial. There are a lot of artists and craftsmen selling their wares in an exceedingly laid back vibe. The place is atmospheric and tranquil. At this stage it is a good sign to see Chinese tourists in a scenic spot and they are of a fairly high quality. If you are at all interested in Chinese dialect, the sounds of chatter around your will be an added simulatory bonus as the local dialect is comparatively delicate and soft spoken.. See more..

Those who are even trying to compare to West Lake in Hangzhou are not being at all fair on this place and though yes it does have nominal similarities, that's it. This is about 120 years old, the brainchild of a local Qing lord who wanted to build a playground out of an ancient bluestone quarry. If you ignore the age of the place and just enjoy its natural beauty and elegance then you can't help but love it. I think my photos speak better than my prose can allow, so I will just say that it may or may not be worth doing the cave boat ride as it's not dirt cheap by Chinese standards and only lasts about 15 minutes, but the price of entry into the attraction is more than worth it. Take time to explore every inch of the grounds which go all the way to the caves and all the way up the hill. A great way to spend the morning, especially on a sunny day like we had! See more..

I loved the place. It was scenic, developed (yet not overly touristy). I only saw two non Chinese tourist in my time there. Traditional sweets and snacks were sold there. Some structures were there since forever. I’d definitely bring my friends to go there the next time I visit Shaoxing. See more..

I ve heard a lot about this lake in Huangzhou. And finally Went there with my family, but it was just below ey expectation. The living cost is kinda high. We joined one ONEDAY sightseeing tour paid around ¥300 per person. We were shipped there by a huge ferry together with others tourists. It was fun. My mom and sis loved the view. As you can see by the reviews, this is the only English review on this place. Our Nexus Holidays tour brought us here. If it were not for them, I would not have known this place exist, nor would I ever want to visit it. We are not too into museums, or performing arts, or cultural sites so this park is placed on the bottom of my list. Nevertheless, the fees are paid and this place is quite a local taste. Almost niche like as not much people would come on a day to day basis but they do try to have street performers here, cultural and authentic buildings and variety of restaurants here for the local tourists. There are a lot of walking so you can try to pay and convince the box office to provide the extended electric golf carts to bring you around. I am sure during big events, there will be more people because there is a grand stand built around the lake featuring a water show accompanied by a giant circular LCD screen and water fountain. We did enjoy the show they put on when dusk came and it is quite synced with the music and videos. The story line may be interesting but the Mandarin language used is above my basic understanding. However, I find it too long that I fell asleep during phases of it. The buildings are very beautiful at night as its lit with LEDs Check out my photos. We came here at 5 PM to catch the door open and these events. During the day, you can omit this place if this interests you. I do not recommend but for others, maybe you would like it. See more..

We didn't stay in the mini lodges along the scenic entrance but a much more hidden village "Ban ling village 半岭村" that have much nicer accommodation, the direct access to terraces, very nice hosting people and quite place. Morning fog in the terrace and mountains were so beautiful. The road to there require some skills. The Nanjianyan scenic is a nice place to climbing and enjoy the terrace view in distance behind or between mountains and fog. A place for photographers. See more..

We Drove 3 hr from Ri'uan Wenzhou to visit this place. The village is very quaint, the people are friendly we took a boat ride up the river to the tourist area. Fascinating history a water conserving dam was built here in 565AD the first of it's kind truly remarkable stones placed one by one to construct. We even went to a café that had pizza by the slice. At the foot of the mountain, there is a She minority village. The scenic spot itself has two separate rocks, which both could be climbed. On the way bamboo groves, temple (plastered to the rock), old guy selling snake wine at the top. All together makes for nice cultural experience and out of town escapade. 2004年和2007年都有去过楠溪江，每次都去了大若岩。清清的小溪静静的流，一副自然纯朴的景象，然而却孕育了最天然的力量。那里的瀑布比较多，又高又急，水很绿，景区也很安静。陶公洞是一定要去祭拜下的，据说是陶弘景的隐居之地。还有好像是石门台吧，山顶上有农家乐，美味的田鱼，还有草鸡可以现杀现烧，豆腐是自家做的，反正楠溪江的美食不错。4月去很美，10月去也很好，可以出点钱叫当地的山轮车夫载着逛一下，沿路的柚子，看了直流口水。另外，自驾游也很不错。有机会，还想去。 See more..

It must be a pretty place when the weather is clear. We took a taxi reaching the main gate of the "Ji Le" temple 极乐寺. You can also climb via stairs. It would take less than an hour. Senior visitors over 70 years old is free to enter the area. For the rest the entry ticket costs RMB40. On the way up, you pass a tea farm. There are different temple halls in the area, and a pagoda on the top. You can overlook the whole Daishan county from the top. See more..

Was recommended by local, to spend my last half-a-day in Yiwu city. Was a surprise as able to not only see old buildings but the small shops selling many different things are so interesting. Do try the many different local delicacies - many different types of pastries made on the spot and by people doing it for 2 to 3 generations, and do not miss the rice wine which taste great and believed to bring good health - if taken adequately. 十里潜溪名字听上去还是很高端的，但如果你想徒步欣赏这十里的滨水风光似乎不太现实。溪谷整体上还是比较窄，行车道路占据了很大一部分，没有开发供徒步者行走的线路，里面有三个景点，分别是天烛湖、百丈岩、七盘仙谷，百丈岩似乎是不收费的，其他都要收费。潜溪入口处的元岙村，随着新农村建设，周边已经盖满了别墅，但人气堪忧，有一个五星级酒店已经烂尾。进入潜溪后，有三个小村，景区周边和丁村有一定的接待设施，沿溪设有多个露天烧烤场所。溪谷的尽头是一处叫石狗洞的地方，是一处丹霞地貌，景观不错，有一些徒步的人会光顾。整体来说，对于外地观光游客来讲，不是很推荐。 See more..
