When people mention Yandangshan (Yandang mountains), they usually refers to North Yandangshan, where the popular and AAAAA scenic areas are located. You'll need to stay 3 nights, having 2 whole days to explore the scenery. The most popular scenic areas are 2 Ling's (Lingfeng, Lingyan) and 1 Dragon (Big Dragon Pond Waterfall), so check those 3 places out first, then explore the others. There are plenty of photos already here to give you an idea what to see. Be prepared that Yangdangshan is very much authentic Chinese - if your diet is western food, you're in the wrong place. I missed my coffee and ham & egg breakfast so bad when I was there, the hotel breakfast is nothing compared to McDonald's. Moganshan is a hill station with temperate climate and green bamboo clad hills offering fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding green hills. It is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the overcrowded Chinese cities. Nothing else to do here except enjoy the solitude and take part in healthy hiking activities. Premier attraction is the hike to Sword Forging Pond (Jian Chi) – named after Mo Xie & Gan Jiang (married sword smiths who made & polished 2 beautiful swords for emperor, by this pool fed by three waterfalls. Good walkways, wooden pagodas and viewing points. It’s a 30 minute hike down from Yinshan Jie (Street). Difficult hike back but still manageable. There are many routes to get there. Start from Yinshan Jie right in front of ZTG Mingting Hotel (no signage indicating start of hike to Sword Pond). Go down the outdoor spiral staircase and follow the stone path as it meander through bamboos and a stream. Pass by Maple Villa, a grand mansion under restoration. Next is the Seven Bells Pond (can rest there). Path descends steeper to the statue of Husband & Wife (Mo Xie & Gan Jiang) by a pond and waterfall. Rest at the convenience store which sells drinks and snacks. Follow the steep steps down to a series of waterfall and ponds, the last of which is the Sword Pond (with timber deck and bivouc pavilion lookout. There are strategically located pavilions at various vantage points that offer fantastic photo opportunities of the Sword pond. The path continues down but I did not explore due to insufficient time. Best time: early mornings when it is deserted before loud smoky Chinese tour groups invade. It is a serene and quiet meditative place, worth the hike. See more..

We were here on a Sunday and it is full, but not so bad then other locations I have been. The view is phantastic and if you don’t mind to walk some steps then you can walk down the mountain instead the lift and no one is there. The waterfall is very nice. So if you like outdoor activities and walking many steps then it is a place to go on a good sunny day. We paid from Ningbo City Centre to here 170 RMB one way. Jianglang mountain (江郎山) has beautiful scenery as you climb. The steps can steep and narrow at times, but some parts of the trail are not difficult. One of the best natural places I could reach from Shanghai. The area is quite large with more gates to enter and there are various trails for hiking. As any other such place in china, the trails ground is manmade. But these are somehow more naturale, not just with thousands of concrete stairs. THese stairs are directly cut in the rock so it looks good and you can reach places that would be normally achieved only with ropes. The views are stunning, so big rocks. The streams are clean and refreshing, with fish in it. Tianmushan is nice, most famous but other places like Huxiao or Water Curtain cave are also worth for hiking. We visited the place when many tourists were gone due to Covid19, so that made the area even better! See more..

I use to drive bicycle to NanBei lake from Haining city. Lake is located between the hills near to coast. It is laid-back area with less tourist. You can just walk around the lake, visit small island in the middle or rent a boat. Local people selling souvenirs and fruits. If you cannot speak basic Chinese you will have problem to order a meal in restaurants as they do not have English menu or menu with pictures. From the hills above is nice view of lake and from eastern hill you can see Hangzhou bay. I have never met a foreigner there, it is really not a known attraction. And actually not worth for visit as there are plenty of others in China. See more..

I loved this place. The village at the top, despite having to pay to get in was so cute. Walk all the way up and around to the waterfall and aqua blue rock pool that will take you breath away. Yaoxi is a very nice area with fresh air, nice trails, and clean water. There is an excellent waterfall (20 minute hike from start) with a pagoda nearby good for camping under. The waterfall's pool is good for swimming and has parts that are quite deep for diving. There are also many trails to get some exercise and enjoy the views. It's part of the DaLouShan trail network, so you can continue your hike if you want to the top of DaLou Mountain. Take the No. 6 bus to the end, followed by a 5rmb/pp minibus ride to the trailhead if you want to get there for cheap. Otherwise, taxi shouldn't cost more than 80 rmb from the city. There are also many restaurants at the beginning of the trail if you want to grab a bite to eat before heading up. Will definitely be going here again! See more..

Quite big area of Peach trees, the hill is not too high, so it is good to have some walk, just like walking in the garden. The location is just in the middle of the city. quite small, you can go up to the highest level of the pagoda and see the city view. The entrance ticket is only 2 RMB, unbelieable, isn't it? Take the 541 bus from railway station until the last terminal (around 1 hour) you will arrive at this small park at the east end of Zhenhai District. Walking to the top of the hill you will find Buddhist temple and pagoda where you can enjoy 360 view of the bay and towards the city. This is also the site where the Chinese navy defend their position during Battle of Zhenhai (Sino-French War), with dedicated war museum down the hill. Just nice for a stroll when you have some time to kill. Standard ticket price is a pricey 60RMB, so bring student card for discount. See more..

Longquan mountain is a great place to visit if you have the time. Just the drive out to the mountain is amazing. There are 3 stages of this place. The lowest level is the entrance gate, hotel, restaurants, snack/gift shops. There is an auto-train which can give you a ride from the lower area to about halfway up the mountain. In the midsection is a playground, some trails to hike, and a large reservoir which I heard is the source of the Oujiang RIver. Then you need to decide if you want to make the trip to the top. There are two paths, I suggest going up one and down the the other. For a special treat you can hike up before light and catch the sunrise on the mountain top. Allow at least 1.5 hours to hike up (if in shape) and bring 2 flashlights. See more..

We were taken to Fangyan Scenic by one of our suppliers which helped. First you are greeted by the many shops in the town selling insence for the pilgrims to take up the mountain and place at the many shrines. Our guide was able to explain the many temples and shrines as we ascended the mountain. Be prepared for a reasonably full on hike up the thousands of steps that lead you past the shrines to the temples at the top of the mountain. Don't be put off thopugh as many make the journey and many of them are the positive side of 70! You may be stared at a bit as western tourists are very rare and we didn't see any other westerners the whole time we were there. When you get to the top it is well worth the effort and the views are fantastic. Some parts of the park are a little dirty but nothing some trash cans wouldn't solve. Give yourself half a day minimum to enable you to tackle the steps at your own pace and enjoy the scenes and scenery as you go. See more..

有车道和山路两条道，车道还是有点险的，车技一般的朋友还是选择步行吧，既锻炼身体，又能欣赏风光，还低碳环保，安全放心。
山上有山泉，玲珑水库从山上俯瞰下来像块碧玉，很美~山上有时可以遇到自行车运动爱好者~
建议上山走山路，下山走车道。

A few friends and I biked here from Wenzhou (return trip is 120km) and really enjoyed it. The views are great and it's not too crowded. We stayed at a guest house in a small village near the end of the scenic area in the mountains. There are many of these types of places, where you can get a home cooked meal and a room for cheap. Next time I visit Zeya, I plan to bike the other side of the looped road and do the white water rafting. See more..

It is a decent place 40 minutes by car from Quzhou. The waterfalls are nice but not spectacular. I saw monkeys on the way back. Paths are manicured and very well maintained; that is no garbage everywhere unlike most Chinese tourist places. A bit unnatural for my liking but if you are in Quzhou with nothing to do, it is worth two-three hours. 129RMB gets you inside the park, access to the glass bridge, and a glass carpet ride down. From Shanghai there's actually a marine express that can reach Putuoshan within 2,5 hours, but at the time we went was not possible due to the big winds so we need to travel via Ningbo. A long drive but worth a drive as we were passing the Hangzhou bay bridge which is the longest bridge in the world. Once we reached Ningbo, we take a cruise at about 10-15 minutes cruise, outside cars/buses are not allowed in Putushan, you need to use the island's shuttle service to move around, so be sure you don't leave your belongings behind as you won't be taking that minibus again on the way back. There are lots of temples here despite of the great symbol of Guan Yin statue (bu li kai de Guan Yin). The scenery is very beautiful, by far there's a small islands shaping the face and the body of Guan Yin.....very beautiful. See more..

Had the opportunity to go to the Scenic Mountain Trails in Tiantai and I must say that China has really maintained their Tourist Places and heritage and Nature very very well and extremely neat with proper signage's and cleaning staff working tirelessly. I was pleasantly surprised to see the discipline and respect the Chinese tourists had for their motherland and I wish that we Indians also start respecting the beauty and natural heritage and tourist sites that we are gifted with without indulging in vandalism and rowdiness. Living in Suzhou and really wanted to escape to nature nearby. Did not find much info on tianmu mountain or anji county mountains. We took a taxi from hangzhou to lin'an, had lunch, bought water and then continued with a taxi to tianmu. We asked the driver to take us to Tianmucun. From Tianmucun left the trail to the top of the mountain. Awesome trail with awesome water streams and views in the end. Took us maybe 3.5h to the very top where we met 3 locals who live there. We stayed the night in hammocks in their yard and had a conversation through my translator app. The next morning we took a bus down back to the village and then a taxi back to Hangzhou. See more..

Went exploring and spotted the pagoda in the distance so went looking what a good choice. It is steep to walk up but is a stunning garden and the locals are a joy to meet. I stopped for a break being fat and unfit to watch a group of locals doing Thai chi next thing a policeman in the group was giving me a bottle of water while an older lady fanned me and then got me to join them which got a lot of laughs because of my ability. Really enjoyed our walk up this mountain with the Shanghai Outing Club. It was raining most of the day and very humid. The walk is basically up a valley to the top (1000m) and down another valley. Walk up was stone stairs, walk down is on a natural footpath. Lots of water falls - some visible, others not, but great to walk and hear the rushing water. It’s a stiff walk up, so be prepared. It’s also worth doing the extra section to the peak, lovely views, especially if the weather is clear. We had lunch at a restaurant about 2/3rds the way up. You need to be reasonably fit to do this and have good walking shoes. See more..

如果仅是鹳山，许多本地人应该是不被他所吸引的。因为鹳山真正的魅力在于周边与其本身气质相融合。
缓缓于山边流过的著名富春江，远处的雄伟第一大桥，富阳中学的红楼，另一边的书香富阳图书馆，当然最最吸引人的是它周围的植被与亭子（每次图书馆回家都会去逛，雨后特别美，反正无法形容）足足可以逛一天，当地人叫“鹳山”一定要带上“公园”两个字，好像固定搭配一样。因为周边的花花草草和景观。
鹳山它的美在于它的小众，它不像曲院风荷的的那些公园来的震撼与完美，而是那种就在身边的真实，往往触手可的。只有在这时候，我会觉得生活在富阳这个人多的小众城市刚刚好，足够幸福。
鹳山的小众有让人忘不了的魔力。
因为鹳山，我感觉到的是：我不用将就，恰到好处的幸福。

4月底又一次去爬了诸暨牌头的斗岩，还是和QQ同学，这个时节天气很美，走在上山的石阶上，被四周葱郁的绿包围着，吮吸着清新的气息，真的很能迷醉于此。
这次也是一路往上，不过最最特别的是，这次在那边伯伯的指引下，我坚定地朝山顶爬去也。路很小很陡，我穿着个坡跟的单鞋，有点点佩服自己，一路往上冲，感觉还是很爽的。不过实在是累，气喘吁吁但是又不敢停，中途我想过不爬了，可是心里又冒上来一个声音不允许自己就这样退缩，就哼哧哼哧继续爬，嘿嘿，挺快的我就到观日石上了，俯瞰下面的田野、公路、村子，心情很特别啊。

The mountain is right near downtown Lishui. it is a beautiful mountain where locals go for hiking and excise. We arrived at the mountain at around 8:30 and spend about 2 hour to climb up and down. the view is good and it's quite cool up the mountain even though we go there in hot summer. there are many places to rest along the way. 冬天的括苍山是最美的，因为不光可以看见云海，日出，星空，还可以看见雾凇，我们人品超级好，什么都看到了。山上很冷，建议带个睡袋，住宿的房间内提供电热毯，晚上温度很低，水缸的水厚厚一层冰。山上冬天没有自来水，都冻住了，不过日出超级美，风车发电很壮观。

按照事先做的功课，先乘坐景交到半山腰，然后开始徒步上山。我们选择的是顺时针方向的徒步线路，这样的行程相对平缓。不过，途中仍然需要攀登两处相对陡峭的台阶哈~ 好在沿途的风景不错，大家边走边看，心情很是愉快的。在我们的游览过程中，天空一度出现了太阳的影子，对于一路冒雨过来的我们，感觉运气真是好极了！
