One of my favourite places
I loved this place. The village at the top, despite having to pay to get in was so cute. Walk all the way up and around to the waterfall and aqua blue rock pool that will take you breath away. I hope to return some day again. Be careful if driving as the road is very dangerous at times due to the curves and steep hills. The roadsa re very good though. Warm seasons are best.

Unique hike for Americans
Our "family" took us to these beautiful mountains, The bamboo mountain sides were very poetic. Once at the top you hike to the bottom passing through a very old village and many artistic monuments, plaques and waterfalls. There are many steps, so wear comfortable shoes. In spite of the rain, we had a very enjoyable day.

Bring a road bike and get out and ride
Excellent area roads for biking. The "mountain" is nice and there are a few good places to stay. It is usually cooler in the hot summer months up on the mountain, so it makes for a nice weekend trip from Hangzhou/Ningbo/Yuyao.
