   I stay at this hotel every two months or so. Over past 7 years myself, business partners, employees, and customers stay here and its great. For us its business, but the hotel is really nice, clean, big rooms, big beds, excellent service. One of the best points of this hotel is the breakfast that comes with the room, make sure you book with this added, its not that big of an upcharge a night, and the buffet with western and world cuisine, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, esspresso/coffee is excellent. They even have a cook to order egg/omelet station. Huge larger than olympic size pool (you need to bring a hair cap guy or girl, but they will rent one to you for a couple rmb if you dont have) and a nice little hotel gym, nice spa services i hear from my wife. there are 2 or 3 others in yuyao that are nice, but this one is my favorite.    I loved this place. The village at the top, despite having to pay to get in was so cute. Walk all the way up and around to the waterfall and aqua blue rock pool that will take you breath away. I hope to return some day again. Be careful if driving as the road is very dangerous at times due to the curves and steep hills. The roadsa re very good though. Warm seasons are best. See more..

   Two hour drive from Ningbo, this place is just great for a weekend holiday. Beautiful scenery, atmospheric ancient village, nice local people. There are waking paths both in the valley and on the mountains with wondeful views and fresh air. Highly remommended. See more..

   Само озеро, ничем не примечательное, рядом с ним парк с "заброшенными" аттракционами - любопытно глянуть, а стоит посетить храмы и подняться на пагоду! Перед подъёмом на холм с пагодой, справа, растёт waxberry (спеет с середины по конец июня) - можно попробовать, а поднявшись на холм по лестнице - растёт слива. Если пагода открыта, то проходите в неё и поднимаетесь по лестнице слева (не ошибётесь) наверх, а там, на каждом этаже можно выйти на балкон вокруг пагоды - красивое зрелище. Храмы с Буддами также интересные, в них можно фотографировать. А перед храмом на холме, справа, можно посмотреть как растёт чай. See more..

   You can kill two birds with one stone - see Generalisimo Chiang Kai-shek's ancestral home and visit the great buddhist temple at Xikou Simingshan. However, both places charge RMB90 (religious place charging entrance fee?) and they are hyped as Ningbo's best place for a day trip. For those on a budget, better to stay in downtown Ningbo where there are lots of historical buildings and three rivers to enjoy. See more..

    We drove over from Xikou to spend the day in this mountain park. It is filled with lakes, mountains, vistas and a hotel we were told was a 5 star hotel. I didn't stay there but the facilities around the hotel were not what I would consider 5 star by western standards. This large National Forest Park has a lot to see but it all involves a lot of walking so see any of it. There is a special Geological section of the park for those who are interested in different geological formations and how they all present themselves in this one area. I did enjoy hiking down some of the mountainsides and seeing some of the trails that have been built over the years but if you're not into a lot of hiking and climbing stairs, this is not the place for you.
