Skycab Cable Car (Wynn Palace) image
This is such a fun thing to do while in Macau. The cable car ride is short, but offers great views over the dancing light fountains (Bellagio style). You can ride as many times as you like for free, but have to queue up each time. My favourite part is when the cable car turns sharply right in front of the massive dragon's red eyes! See more..

While gambling has transformed Macau to a sprawling city, this small chapel has witnessed the changes and remains serene and peaceful. Loyal to the colonial root, Our Lady of Penha is a small institution of Catholicism. What makes it stand out is the unparalleled panorama of Macau. Even the skyscrapers in Zhuhai are easily discernible. Beware that the walk up hill can be challenging for some. See more..

A trip to the past, to visit the most ancient western-style beacon in the East. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden, on a hill, and has a spectacular view over Macau. Sadly, it is now very far from the water, because of all the continuous land reclamation. Good to visit with children, they can run around and play safely. One of Macau most popular jogging circuits.
