Peaceful seaside village
Amazing array of architecture with murals and alleyways great for walking around, Lord Stow's bakery and Cafe Garden is in the village, buy a takeaway and sit by the promenade and watch the world go by. walk to the south end and there are public toilets plus a small temple. go up the hill by the temple and along the street and there is a path to the beach. great views of China opposite. well worth a couple of hours or so.

Idyllic village
Coloane was a small island at the southern tip of Macau. Now reclaimed and connected with Taipa, the small village remains the serene vibe and has attracted tourists interested in the real, non-gambling side of the former Portuguese colony. A walk along the coastal thoroughfare is particularly carefree. Transport can be an issue as buses become full soon.

Lazy day in Coloane
It will take the whole day in Coloane. It’s a small coastal village but many places to explore starting from Portuguese style churches, temples, shops, restaurants (especially the original Lord Stow’s egg tart). At A Ma Cultural Village, you can walk up to the hill and find a very beautiful Chinese temple right there. A Ma goddess statue is at the top of the hill.
