appreciate the plants in lou lim leoc garden
Childhood memories garden for a must visit for all ages. Well maintained, peaceful and tranquility. Trees are neatly named for public to understand and appreciate the plants more in depth. Comfortable walk away from the busy streets and corners outside. Friendly staff. Had a great time chillaxing.

Beautiful Garden Compound, well worth a visit in Macau
We visited the Lou Lim leoc Garden (no entrance fee), east of the main Historic Center of Macau attractions, this past weekend during the Chinese New Year holiday and were very happy with this attraction. While not a World Heritage attraction in Macau, we felt this garden was very impressive and well worth seeking out. This garden features numerous narrow and winding stone footpaths that surround a small lake. There is a rock grotto area, a nice small pavilion and very attractive winding footbridge towards the back of the garden grounds. There is also a lovely little statue of Kun Iam near the entrance, lots of bamboo shoots and well-maintained vegetation throughout the garden. Further, the building on the lake was hosting an interesting Xinjiang Uyghur exhibition during the Chinese New Year period as well. We found numerous lovely spots to have a seat and just admire the beauty of this location. As this attraction is not on the main tourist trail in Macau, it had only a small number of other visitors during the time we were there, making our stop more quiet, peaceful and relaxing. In the area of the Lou Lim leoc Garden you can also visit other interesting attractions, most not included in the UNESCO collection of attractions for Macau. These include the Macau Tea Culture House, on the street corner where you find the Lou Lim leoc Garden. Also, 2-3 minutes walk down the street called Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida, which is lined with beautifully painted houses, you can find the nice Tap Seac Square, and the Tap Seac Gallery. Just around the corner from the back of Lou Lim leoc, is the Memorial of Dr. San Yet Sen and yet another five minutes walk and you can find the Flores Garden and Guia Hill cable cars. Overall, it was the most beautiful attraction we were able to visit during this recent trip to Macau, one well worthy of a return visit. Unfortunately, some of the water plant vegetation was not in season due to the cold winter temperatures, making it potentially better to visit the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden during the warmer months of the year. This was the only thing we could think of that would our visit to Lou Lim leoc Garden better.
