    If you feel like skiing - you can go there. Especially if you need kind of warm up or you want to learn it. Slopes are well prepared but not super long. But there is plenty lifts and slopes - so it's not crowded. See more..

    Skischule Poppenberg is conveniently located very close to the holiday resort Landal Winterberg at the foot of the Poppenberg. Several quite good Skipistes arrive at this point. They rent our skiing equipment (quite a large stock) and also provide skiing lessons, which we very much enjoyed. Lockers for your shoes and other personal belongings are also provided. My impression was skirental and lessons in the village were a bit cheaper, but logistically much more involved. In general you have to pay for equipment rental, lessons, and a pass for all the skilifts separately. See more..

    Excellent skiing area, especially if your children just start skiing although the red slopes offer enough challenge for those with more advanced skills; we have been there twice and had great snow. They have over 30 artificial snow cannons so can very quickly get slopes ready if it is cold enough. There is a special micro climate and predictions beyond 3 days are unreliable. The local people tend to be better in this than what you find online. So don't be put off by official predictions. There is a natural toboggan slope that challenges most people, on the opposite side there is a special toboggan hill, both have special lifts you can use with it; it's great fun; The nice thin is there is always a blue slope alternative to the black piste, so you all end up at the same lift, not matter what your skill is. Our kids love it. We stayed at the Pension Stiegelmeier, just across the road from where you start your ski day, we can recommend them! See more..

    Der Hang ist besonders für die Kleinen super zum Üben, aber auch als Große konnten wir ein paar spaßige Abfahrten machen! Die Helfer an und in der Hütte sorgen für eine angenehme Stimmung, wo man sich richtig wohl fühlen kann und ein bisschen "Skigebiets Luft" schnuppert ;)

    Alles zusammen macht es zu einer Runden Sache und man kann es nur empfehlen und wo hat man schon oft die Chance in Lippe Ski zu fahren.     See more..
