I was lucky enough to see the operetta ROXY AND HER WONDERTEAM, about football of course! Very amusing, well sung/acted, imaginatively directed and magnificently played by the 20s style band. Inexpensive (15 Euros) and a spectacular, modern theatre. Highly recommended! See more..

- Tanztheater worth a trip

We traveled from Sweden just to experience the Tanztheater Pina Bausch. It was definitely worth it. We bought tickets for 50 euros each on the internet, easy but be early to be sure to get one. The performance, "Nur Du", lasted for 3,5 hours, without any boring moments (!) so it was really value for money. We also booked the guided Pina-tour from the tourism agency of Wuppertal. A very friendly guide, Claudia, and her colleague who's name escapes me, took us to some of the places where Wim Wender's film Pina was shot, and on the way we also learnt many interesting things about Wuppertal and its special place in history.
