We went on a trip they advertised to a sacred place of the Sami. The lake and the forest with the rocks and creek with bridge and outlooks were stunning in the snowy condition. It was a rather easy walk uphill on a well maintained path to a Kota on a place with a great view. We had a great guide that told us lots of interesting things about the nature we walked through and made us a great fire with good food and drink. We made arrangements by e-mail which worked very well and you get great value (fun, ride, equipment, guiding and food) for money. Would definitely go on another trip with them if we come to Akaslompolo again.See more..
We did a snowmobile safari in the woods with Kari and it was awesome! He showed us different spots, we stopped several times to take pictures and we also went to a frozen lake. He even brought some tea and biscuits so that we could eat them surrounded by nature. Moreover, we forgot a phone in the pocket of the overall and Kari was so kind that he brought it to our hotel. We took the reindeer sleigh ride with lunch. The trip was great fun, spent some time feeding the reindeer, then took a trip into the forest, which was very scenic and had lunch half way. Very tasty reindeer soup and cakes. The guide was very informative.See more..
Amazing time with wonderful hosts in this winter wonderland! Every day was a different adventure. One day we were sledding, the next taking a husky dogsled ride through a snowy forest and then the next day skiing! We rode snowmobiles, had an open fire lunch near a frozen lake and even fed reindeer (very calm animals!). Truly a one-of-a-kind trip that me and my family will remember forever! We did the guided fatbike tour with Lapin Luontoelamys on New Year's Day and it was a brilliant way to start the New Year! The guides were absolutely fantastic and helped our children (aged 11 & 12) to persevere with the first part of the tour. The guides gave lots of encouragement and support and the children soon felt confident on their fat bikes. The scenery was amazing and it was so peaceful riding through the snow. We stopped part way for warm juice and cookies - in a hut with a real fire - to warm up. The whole experience was fantastic and made all the more so by the guides! This is a great trip and I would recommend it for families with children over 8 years old who are confident cyclists. The fatbikes take a bit of getting used to but, once you are peddling, it is a great experience. Downhill is awesome! And I loved cycling across the frozen lake!See more..
Erwan was a great guide. You can tell he has a lot passion and great knowledge about the nature in Lapland. He was very adaptive and chose the perfect route for my very first snow shoeing hiking. The nature he showed me through the tour was absolutely stunning. None of us had experience skiing, but with the guidance of our guide, Yukka, and countless falls, we gradually got the hang of it. Skiing was truly a workout, never have we felt so warm in freezing temperatures. The activity can be customised to the group’s skiing experience. For our level of experience, we felt the duration of the activity was just right. We also made a pitstop at a husky farm for hot chocolate (payable) and got to see some puppies and sled dogs. (The toilets have no sinks to wash your hands, snow and hand sanitisers were used instead). We ended off the activity with a 400m walk to the carpark, with our skis in tow, and had a nice cup of fruit tea and biscuits in the van. We would like to commend Yukka for his patience and words of encouragement. He made sure everyone had fun while prioritising safety. Overall a very enjoyable experience.See more..
We contacted Wildmaker Lapland for a custom canoeing adventure including a 4 day canoe rental and transportation to and from the starting and ending places. Our trip started at Jerisjärvi and went trough Jerisjoki to Muonio. The route was unkown to us and we are beginners. We got some great info, tips and instructions as well as flexible service. What a wonderful trip to Pallas-Ylläs national park! Cant wait to go back next fall. Our two day trip included canoeing and flyfishing in the Äkäsriver followed by overnight hike to Pyhätunturi. This was our first trip to the wilderness and were pleased to have such a great guide as Jussi leading the trip. His passion, professionalism, experience topped with great sense of humor showed through and made the trip even better. Jussi was also very flexible with timing and other arrangements. Me and my partner did the Snowmobiling with Lunch, and it was awesome! We were lucky enough to have the guide to ourselves and it felt like such an amazing personalised experience. The guide showed a clear step by step procedure of how to operate the snowmobile. The route that we took for amazing, so much scenery and opportunity to spot wildlife. The guide would stop every so often to talk about any wildlife tracks or to give information regarding the area. She was very knowledgeable and really made the experience special. We stopped in the cabin by the frozen lake for lunch and had delicious food, warm juice and warmed up by the fire. For the price you pay it is definitely worth it as this experience was far better than the big groups the other snowmobiling companies go out with. Would definitely recommend.See more..
We had a fantastic trip, arriving on snow mobiles to be met by the charming young couple who have made their life in a remote dwelling along with their many wolf dogs. We went into the enclosures and were able to meet these beautiful animals face to face. Well worth a visit See more..
We had three amazing days with Rauno and Tomi. I was travelling with my 12 years old son and we both did not have any previous experience of salmon fishing. Even though we did not catch the big fish this time, we gained plenty of experience and especially good memories. Rauno and Tomi really knew the river, all about salmon fishing and were also good company. We stayed at the cabin. It was clean, had kitchenware, small tv, and blankets and sheets were available and comfortable. Relaxing vacation with plenty of fresh air and pure nature around. Husky safari,northern lights hunting,gold panning, meeting Santa. Everything perfect and unique. You must visit Laponia at least once in this life especially for kids. 3 nights are not enough to enjoy everything however we had fun in our short holiday thanks to our programme provided by Lappitrip. During our 1 week stay in Lapland we (4 people from Germany) booked a private snowshoe night tour with Pihka Outdoors. Joona was a fabulous guide and everything was well organized. We walked on a private path and felt like being pushed into the movie of ‚cronicles of Narnia‘. Trees full of snow looking like little creatures, untouched nature , snow glittering like diamonds and pearls. Joona was not tired to look out for northern lights which we finally did. We spent the morning at the snow castle. It was beautiful. Picked up by snowmobile from our hotel and whizzed across the frozen lake to the ice castle. The venue is beautiful and the hosts warm and friendly. We spent an hour looking around and the kids playing, enjoyed a hot drink and then came back by snowmobile sled. We spent a morning with Sinikka, Marti and the dogs during a recent visit to Kilpisjarvi. They made the event fun, interesting and entertaining. We were introduced to the dogs and given the opportunity to 'mush' Penny and the rest of the pack across the lake to Sweden! The warm berry juice provided at the half way point was very welcome! We had a fantastic experience with O’nordic! We spent an amazing day with the doggies, they are all very cute! The sleight ride was amazing and the snowshoeing with the puppies was very funny. Spending some time with them, hugging and petting them is an experience that I will hardly forget soon. Mailys is very nice and caring. She organized everything in detail, making all the experience as a real “Finnish experience”. Between one activity and another she turned on the fire to make us cooking sausages and she also offered us hot drinks and cake. I really recommend this experience to everyone!See more..

I found Sea Song Travel Agency pretty much by accident on line when looking for a company that could work with me following the end of our Orient Express Trip from Paris to Istanbul in August 2022 (see separate review), We had been in Turkey many times but had never made it to Cappadocia which I had always wanted to visit. We rented a canoe and equipment from Sampsa & Lauri, booked transportation with them and spent a few nights in their wonderful cabin. The whole family was extremely hospitable and friendly and everything just worked perfectly. They even picked us up when we had to change our plans unexpectedly and took us to another paddling destination. The cabin was very cosy with an amazing sauna and they offered us great home made food. All in all they offered awesome and very friendly service and we felt really welcome: we can't recommend LAP Adventures highly enough and might come back ourselves anytime!See more..
