We had a great visit to wild spirit park in Ivalo, it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. It’s not an large place by any means but their are enough to see with Arctic foxes, snow dogs, a wild hog, goats and of course the sledding dogs that you can interact with. We went in early November and while there was snow it wasn’t enough to go sledding. That didn’t effect our overall experience though as the owner was thorough in explaining the stories of each of the animals there. We had a great time and at only a 10 euro donation to visit it’s probably one of the best values as far as experiences go. Plus you get the added benefit of knowing it goes to the cost of taking care of the park.See more..
Just got back from the 2 night christmas sparkle trip with Canterbury travel staying in ruka. Was such a magical amazing experience. My partner dislocated his knee a few months prior to travelling and I have emailed them to change accommodation as it was a very steep uphill walk to village - they didn't only change our accommodation they noted about his injury and when we arrive had a brought him a wheelchair ski thing incase on the bus and throughout the whole 3 days asked him constantly if he was OK and if needed lifts etc thus was all down the a boy called Sam who was our rep he was absolutely amazing and couldn't recommend him more. Brilliant at his job great with the kids and so organised. Thankyou Sam for all your hard work you made our trip!!See more..
We did the guided fatbike tour with Lapin Luontoelamys on New Year's Day and it was a brilliant way to start the New Year! The guides were absolutely fantastic and helped our children (aged 11 & 12) to persevere with the first part of the tour. The guides gave lots of encouragement and support and the children soon felt confident on their fat bikes. The scenery was amazing and it was so peaceful riding through the snow. We stopped part way for warm juice and cookies - in a hut with a real fire - to warm up. The whole experience was fantastic and made all the more so by the guides! This is a great trip and I would recommend it for families with children over 8 years old who are confident cyclists. The fatbikes take a bit of getting used to but, once you are peddling, it is a great experience. Downhill is awesome! And I loved cycling across the frozen lake!See more..
A fantastic afternoon, excellent host, easy collection and amazing husky experience on the lake. Down hill, lake, photos, swap sledge driver, return, build a fire and have a hot drink. Family run business and they couldn’t be more friendly. Excellent highly recommended. Thank you See more..

We booked the evening snowmobile trip which included snacks at the Kota over the fire, and the whole experience was wonderful. Our guide Heikki was very friendly and funny, and really made sure our experience was great. He brought along some vegan sausages for me and grilled them over the fire, and then even brought vegan pastries for after. The reindeer flatbread was also really enjoyed. Hot berry juice was delicious, as was the freshly made pot of coffee. We ended up with a private trip as no one else booked and it was perfect! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!See more..

Fantastic guided snowshoe trek up the fells of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Very knowledgeable guide (Maria) who frequently checked on the group to make everyone was ok. This was my first time on snowshoes, based on this experience I would certainly use Q5 Safaris again.See more..

J'ai adoré passer mon dernier jour en sa compagnie autour d'une excursion à skis avec déjeuner fait maison au coin du feu en pleine nature en bord de lac. Le ski était chouette et les différents paysages d'une beauté à couper le souffle ! Enveloppés par le calme et la nature sauvage, quoi de mieux pour se ressourcer ? Henna est d'une grande générosité, tant part sa personnalité que par les attentions qu'elle vous porte.
