Our family had a spectacular easter friday outside in lovely weather with Hannu and Reetta. We had some warm drinks, cold drinks and sausages next to the fire. Our toddler had a fun time with their young one while we enjoyed the views and serenity of the nature. Hannu also showed us kite flying which im sure to try next time with skis or a snowboard. The day really couldnt have gone better, time just flew by. Highly recommended!See more..

What a wonderful trip to Pallas-Ylläs national park! Cant wait to go back next fall. Our two day trip included canoeing and flyfishing in the Äkäsriver followed by overnight hike to Pyhätunturi. This was our first trip to the wilderness and were pleased to have such a great guide as Jussi leading the trip. His passion, professionalism, experience topped with great sense of humor showed through and made the trip even better. Jussi was also very flexible with timing and other arrangements. I did not have any pre booking done and just walked in to the LuontoLoma Pro Safaris office near by our accommodation. Service was really good and helpful. They managed to provide bicycles and kayaks and canoe for two adults and two kids. Bicycles were in top quality, one electric fat bike and three full suspension bicycles. We did cycling trip in a one day around Saariselkä and then canoe trip in another day in Lutto river. Lutto river nature, trip and rapids were really nice and manageable. We had a really great time ice fishing with Timo (during our trip at the Naali Lodge), who is passionate and fascinating. Weather was windy but not so cold (still impressive to pull the net without gloves ahah !) We learnt a lot. The lunch at the cottage was really nice in a friendly atmosphere. Would do it again ! We had three amazing days with Rauno and Tomi. I was travelling with my 12 years old son and we both did not have any previous experience of salmon fishing. Even though we did not catch the big fish this time, we gained plenty of experience and especially good memories. Rauno and Tomi really knew the river, all about salmon fishing and were also good company. We stayed at the cabin. It was clean, had kitchenware, small tv, and blankets and sheets were available and comfortable. Relaxing vacation with plenty of fresh air and pure nature around. We spent the morning at the snow castle. It was beautiful. Picked up by snowmobile from our hotel and whizzed across the frozen lake to the ice castle. The venue is beautiful and the hosts warm and friendly. We spent an hour looking around and the kids playing, enjoyed a hot drink and then came back by snowmobile sled. Great fun and really reasonably priced.See more..
This was a great rafting trip for our pre-wedding group. This Finland rafting organization was very professional and showed us a great time. It took you down the rapids 2 times: once just to get the feel of it and the second time doing maneuvers to show off the skill...or not! We spent a morning with Sinikka, Marti and the dogs during a recent visit to Kilpisjarvi. They made the event fun, interesting and entertaining. We were introduced to the dogs and given the opportunity to 'mush' Penny and the rest of the pack across the lake to Sweden! The warm berry juice provided at the half way point was very welcome! Pascal is amazing and we had the best day with him. So worth the money. We had a great morning ice fishing then a campfire, lunch and off for a reindeer safari. It was all totally safe, friendly, interesting, enjoyable and easy. My 8 & 9 year olds also loved it. Pascal is very knowledgeable, multi-lingual and a really nice chap. Very highly recommended. I usually perform all my travel alone and being a woman, I’m concerned with my safety. Then when I booked this tour I was honestly apprehensive because of all the unknowns in visiting the wildest and far away place, until that moment. It was to be a dream fulfilled at long last - I was so impressed with every aspect of this trip: the people, the nature of Saami culture, to breathe freely the silence, smell of pristine nature with lots of snow, contemplating a frozen river, try the Finn sauna and after the sauna go out naked with just a towel in the middle of nowhere and feel the snow falling in my skin, visit the northernmost village in Europe, purity of a starry sky well below my head with the lovely dancing northern lights, all made it worth the temperature of -26C, the best gift I could offer myself was to realize this dream, all exceeded my expectations. Tundra Safari team was outstanding, they really know how to take care of you, to make you feel at home with cozy accommodations, delicious meals and incredible adventures with speechless scenery everywhere. Every detail made me adore and wanted to stay there longer, the most extraordinary thing is: they love, respect and feel pride of their Saami culture and want to show it and ensure you have a good time in Utsjoki. I feel like I've left friends behind and I'm sure you will also be able to say the same. I can definitely say after this unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone booking with Tundra, if you really want to experience the Saami culture and the magical northern lights, it is a unique, is a must visit destination in the Finland and in your entire life.
