Ruska trip to Pallas-Ylläs National park
What a wonderful trip to Pallas-Ylläs national park! Cant wait to go back next fall. Our two day trip included canoeing and flyfishing in the Äkäsriver followed by overnight hike to Pyhätunturi. This was our first trip to the wilderness and were pleased to have such a great guide as Jussi leading the trip. His passion, professionalism, experience topped with great sense of humor showed through and made the trip even better. Jussi was also very flexible with timing and other arrangements. With that said I would highly recommend Jussi to anyone looking for a similar experience.

Breathtaking views in taiga forrests
We had a perfect day with our guide Jussi from Outdoors Ylläs. We went snowshoeing to Kesänkitunturi and it was breathtaking views over the windy mountain and in Finnish taiga forrests. Jussi is a professional guide and he was telling stories and nice to know facts about lapland’s nature. At the end of the trip we had some reindeer soup and traditional Finnish flatbread at campfire in laplander’s hut. The price for the whole thing was really deasent. I would recommend Outdoors Ylläs for everyone.

Excellent
Our family of four (children 13 & 16 yrs) did a canoe trip at the river Äkäsjoki. It was wonderful, Jussi was good guide and though we are not too experienced in canoeing (even less in Lapland rivers) we felt safe all the time with him and his equipment. Nature along the river was unique and Jussi had a lot of knowledge and experience of northern wildlife. During the break he made us delicious food by the fireside. And nokipannukahvi of course too. The day was unforgettable. Highly recommended!
